Wedding Ceremonies Scotland

Wedding Ceremonies Scotland Have the wedding YOU want and express your love in a beautiful, tailor made and legal ceremony. I offer personal wedding ceremonies tailor-made for each couple.

Have the ceremony you want, expressing your love, vision and intention for your marriage in your wedding vows. You can choose any style (eg humanistic, spiritual or religious) and any theme (such as family, romance, nature-inspired, traditional) and include in it whatever music, songs, poems, readings, prayers or blessings that move you and reflect your personal values and beliefs. We can include

any ritual that adds to the beauty and appropriateness of your special ceremony, such as candle lighting, a quaich toast, or gift of roses. Together, we will create a day you will never forget, and I gift you a keepsake copy of the ceremony to use on anniversaries and vow renewals.

This is my response to the 23 Incredible Places to get married article on Buzzfeed:

Judith Hampson · Wedding Celebrant at Interfaith Minister
The first line of this article is quite correct in saying you can get legally married anywhere in Scotland by an authorized minister and quite INCORRECT in giving the impression that an authorized minister is a minister of the church, a Registrar, or a humanist celebrant - Period. Not so. There are also authorized Interfiath Ministers and independent celebrants who provide legal alternative wedding ceremonies. An Interfaith Minister is the most flexible of the options available because their mission in life is to provide a couple with a service that reflects THEIR individual values and beliefs, whatever these may be. Unlike Registrars and humanists, Interfaith Ministers are not restricted in any way as to what has to be left out of a ceremony, or what can be put in. You can have the wedding you want, exactly the way YOU want it, and you will not be required to subscribe to someone else's values, or to set aside any of your own (or your family's), or to join an organization such as the Humanist Society. To find out more please go to my website, which contains a number of informative blogs. Blessings, Judith
