Still in the early stages of its redevelopment, Folkestone’s Harbour Arm has rapidly become a food, drink and entertainment destination for the town and its visitors. Originally the railway terminal for the Folkestone- Boulogne Ferry and departure point for soldiers on their way to the Western Front, the arm still embraces the town’s working fishing harbour, becoming a pivotal point in the town’s

future and its historical past. Small, independent businesses along the pier give it its unique flavour, and its reputation is growing as restoration continues along the platform and across the railway bridge and beyond, with the addition of an onsite bakery and brewery, a regular farmer’s market and other seasonal events.

This is your 60 minute warning, grab a drink, grab a snack and then head to your spot. The display will launch from the area between the lighthouse and the Folkestone sign, so make sure you are looking in that direction, for the more directionally minded that is South.

Sorry to say but the traditional Bank Holiday weather has struck and The Altones at 2pm and Mamapama Quintet at 4pm have both fallen victim to it 😩

Still plenty going on later with lots of indoor options and covered seating in the Goods Yard so don’t let a spot of rain put you off.

As of this post, YES, the Fireworks are still scheduled for 8.30pm (ish).

Here is the full run down of our BIG Summer Blow Out tomorrow, see what is happening, when!

We also have some top tips to help you have the best time possible tomorrow at out BIG Summer Blow Out:

✋DON’T RUSH OFF– There is lots going on after the fireworks, enjoy more live music, watch Mamma Mia, or head to The After Party at
🚘Parking – Our main car park and the Marine Parade car park are likely to fill up early.
🕑Updates to any time changes will be posted to our socials.
‍🚌If you can come down by foot or bus please do.
🎸Delays are likely at exit – STICK AROUND A LITTLE LONGER, enjoy some more live music from Whiskey & Wine or watch Mamma Mia in The Goods Yard.
💷Pay at a pay station for parking to help speed up vehicle exits.
✌️Be respectful and understanding to all staff, security and other visitors.
☂️Even though the forecast is improving, bring a jacket or umbrella just in case!

6pm: Summer Sundowners .uk local DJs - great views and that golden hour glow!
7pm: Sunset Sessions at The Tasting Rooms. 3 courses and live music all night for £35
