I think its now time that we have to address some of the criticism we are receiving online, that is being posted in chats and picked up by half the town…
This business is owned by 2 people born and bred in Fleetwood, we took this site on to secure the Bakery that we grew up with in our hometown, as did you, your parents and more than likely theirs!
The Bakery could of very well turned into a butchers or something else and some of you may of preferred that I don’t know but we didn’t want to see that happen and with the response we got when opening up we felt the support of the whole town in that we made the right decision.
Since taking this business on we have tried and will continue to do what we can to bring you the best quality food from local butchers and the dock, We see posts regarding quality and this is one thing we have never cut a corner on. We have tried and tested different places upon your feedback but considering these posts go up regardless it doesn’t seem that there is a butchers on the Fylde coast that is going to be able please everyone.
We have never served catering sausages at any point and never will, we have used the likes of the Dock Street, The Chopping Block, Choice Meats all the names we see people post yet the comments are on the back of sausages from these very places?
We do see other local business owners jumping on the back of some of these comments in which I find quite shameful, in a town that needs all the help it can get we should be rooting for one another for taking the leap to open something in our town. There is enough people in the town for business’s to do well rather than trying to gain custom through slander, we don’t just want the bakery to do well we want Fleetwood to do well even if we are in slight competition.
If you have any issues please address these in store with a manager and we can look to rectify and resolve for you in house, we are here to serve the town and we appreciate everyone that walks through the door, We hope to see you soon!
