Congratulations to Mr and Mrs Mitchell who had their legal ceremony on Saturday.

Viki wanted a simple elegant bouquet so we went for cream Roses, Ruscus and Gyp. I also added a few pearls to her bouquet to as an acknowledgment to a loved one.

Viki also had this lovely charm on her bouquet containing photos of her late Granny and Grandma. What a lovely touch!

I look forward to working with you both throughout the year to create your flower visions for your summer wedding.

Congratulations to Will and Josh who got married at the beautiful Guildford Registry office on Friday.

They asked for a mix of cream and pale pink roses to complement their beautiful green suits and bridesmaid dress.

Enjoy your honeymoon and your next chapter.

It was an honour to be asked to do these funeral flowers of a much loved Mother and Grandmother today.

Her favourite colour was turquoise. This can be a tricky coloured flower to source, so we decided to use a scattering of turquoise ribbon instead amongst the white coffin spray.

The family also asked for a yellow and blue arrangement plus a purple and blue hand tied sheaf.

There’s alway something special about doing funeral flowers for someone, knowing that the flowers are a symbol of the person. Whether that be through colour or their favourite flowers.

Sending the family my condolences today.

Ceremony/Church Flowers

These flowers will most likely be the first insight your guests get to the theme of your day.

Pedestals or arch’s make a great welcoming entrance to your service. These can then be moved to be used at the reception.

Flowers look beautiful lining the isle, this could be something as simple as pew ends or larger arrangements to create a statement!

Pedestals can also be used at the alter to frame the bride and groom, making a great back drop for photos. Or a small arrangement on the table for when you sign the documents.

You may also have your own ideas, which i’d be more than happy to bring to live for you.

Let me know if you’d like to book a consultation with me.

Have you thought about your whole venue decor? It’s not just tables that can be dressed with flowers.

Doorways, Fire places, The aisle to name just a few.

Pedestals, Garlands, hanging globes or chandeliers, Pew Ends. Maybe even an arch! Place settings, the list is endless!

Floral venue decor can be very simple or elaborate, I will always make sure it suits the venue.

Have a think what you would love to include at your wedding. We can discuss all of this at your consultation and how we can reuse arrangements throughout the day.

Table Centres!

This can be quite a big decision for some couples. There are some couples who know exactly what they would like whether it’s big statement table centres or small and unimposing vase arrangements. Others have no idea and need some help, that’s where I come in. Ultimately it depends on the style of the wedding and the venue.

If it’s a small intimate venue a larger table centre most likely wouldn’t be the right fit. Are you having sharing boards or family style wedding breakfast? There won’t be lots of space for flowers on the table.

Types of table centres we offer
Small vase arrangements
Table runners
Bud vases
Wreaths with or without candles
High pedestal arrangements

In your consultation we will discuss in details table centres that would work for you and most importantly what flowers would be best.

If you need some help or are struggling to imagine what would be best for your venue, I am always happy to do a venue visit with you with or without a mock up table centre.

Let’s talk Buttonholes and Corsages.

Who wears them?

🌷Buttonholes
Groom
Groomsmen/Ushers
Father of the Groom
Father of the Bride
Page Boys

💐Corsages
Mother of the Bride
Mother of the Groom

Or whoever you’d like to wear them!

The buttonholes are worn on the left lapel of the men’s suits. The corsages are also worn on the left side of the ladies outfit, they tend to be different to a buttonhole - like a mini posy, containing slightly more flowers or foliage than the buttonhole.

Depending on the style of the wedding I use two styles, wired or natural stemmed. Which do you prefer?
