Outdoor weddings in Scotland are just something else 🌿

But when it comes to flowers, it’s worth thinking about the elements. A bit of wind, the odd shower, changing temperatures… it’s all part of it, even in summer 😉

I always guide couples towards flowers that can handle that: nothing too delicate, a bit more structure, and arrangements that won’t mind a breeze. Bouquets tied a little tighter, table flowers with a bit of weight to them, and pieces that still look beautiful even if the weather does its thing.

It’s never about fighting the weather, more about working with it. And when it all comes together… it just feels so naturally Scottish 🤍

Spring weddings are in full swing 🌿

Fresh blooms, lighter colours… you can feel it all starting, and I just love this time of year.

We’re not quite in full outdoor wedding season yet, but it’s definitely on the horizon, and I can’t wait for those days to arrive.
