I know I know that we have been super quiet lately but with Xmas , new year , fractured toes and all us seeming to be under the weather at some point social media has taken a back seat. We’re back and ready for 2026 now though !!! Our first function of the year was our annual Burns night celebration with The Bournemouth Caledonian Society , we have been catering for them since 2019 and it always starts our year off with a bang. Traditional Haggis , neeps and tatties followed by Cranachan or sticky toffee pudding. A haggis blessed with whisky , some dancing , bagpipes and lots of smiles.

Yesterday we were lucky enough to be part of an amazing couples big day at . Featured in our pictures my arm plating up the delicious chicken main ( the most you’ll ever see of me on here ) we also supplied beetroot wellington and a popular choice for this autumn season our lamb shoulder dish. Desserts were chocolate brownie , vanilla cheesecake and Dorset apple cake. The venue as always looked gorgeous and we fell in love with the couple’s personal touch of having their dog ( who I got some lovings from ) involved in the day as part of their decor. We were lucky enough to work with Jess from and amazing music supplied by . Thank you so much to the wonderful bride and groom and the for putting up with us.

I love an Autumnal wedding and on Thursday 2nd October we were lucky enough to be part of Ryan and Alice’s wedding at . The venue looked gorgeous thanks to and all the personal touches from the couple. We served starters of chicken liver parfait or tempura prawns , mains of lamb shoulder or beetroot wellington followed by a@dessert cup of vanilla cheesecake and chocolate brownie. With fun details such as the sticker machine and in the evening a fire performer we had such a good day. Can’t wait to see the photos from and the video from . A fun day had by all.

LET LOVE GROW !!! Definitely the right words when you are getting married surrounded by the most gorgeous gardens. We had the pleasure of catering for Marie and Rich yesterday at their family oriented wedding. We supplied canapés of fruit skewers , pate , tomato bruschetta and savoury tarts. This was followed by a bbq and dessert duo of lemon tart and Dorset apple cake. We loved being at a new venue and the staff and security looked after us so well as did offering help and keeping Chef Matt hydrated. Wishing the lovely couple many happy years ahead.

HEY GUYS !!!
Sorry we’ve been really quiet on here but the last few weeks have been hectic to say the least. We had two wonderful Hen Parties in June at . Then a corporate function where we supplied a hogroast , this was followed by a Greek inspired bbq at . The following week we were at Branksome dene community rooms twice for a bbq wedding and another corporate hogroast , we also supplied canapés for at the opening of their Ringwood branch. This week we supplied a 3 course meal for a local masonic lodge , two venue visits for wedding in 2026 a taster today and on Friday we were back at for Sophie and Ross’s big day. As of tomorrow we are in holiday for a week and boy do we need it.

We were in two minds whether to post this or not. We had a fire at our home last Wednesday. It was the immersion heater. The most important thing is that we are all safe. We are currently living in a travel lodge as work needs to be carried out. Plus we have no electric or hot water.
