Please help me say a huge congratulations to my alterations bride Stacey and her now Husband who recently tied the knot at Whitley Hall Hotel Sheffield 💕

Stacey came to me with her beautiful dress waaaayyy too big for her!

We decided to take in from the back zip tapering softly into to the train instead of the side seams so not to cause too much disturbance to how the shoulders sat.
We shortened the length, shoulders added a bustle and a few other little bits to get the dress ready for the big day and 🪄 ….. A perfectly fitted wedding dress for a beautiful bride in her wedding day!

SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT 💕

So! As some of you know Ive been on the hunt for new premises for a while and well ladies & gents, I finally found it! My new home for business and I am so so in love 💕

For years I’ve driven by this building and adored from a distance! It’s an amazing building, now very black and very very me 😍

So now I’ve taken the plunge, keys are in hand and we’re ready get rolling with preparation for opening in a few weeks 🥳

That said, KF Bridal has been on a journey, and what a journey that has been, from KF Alterations Bridal & Occasion Wear, in the back room of my family home, to fitting studio on Station Lane then transforming into KF Bridal & Alterations - with a room full of beautiful dresses and nowhere to sew 🧵🪡😂 many times you’d have heard me say ‘I need a bigger shop’ 😂 well here we have it…

Though this chapter will look a lot different as I separate the two, and take KF Bridal & Alterations back to solely Bridal alterations,
and move forward with a brand new home for all of these stunning dresses as Yorkshire Bridal Boutique - YORK. It’ll still be me that you meet when I open the doors 🥰 That way, if you’re here for the alts, you see all things alts - but if you’re here for the dresses as a gorgeous then you can follow Yorkshire Bridal Boutique - YORK. 🫶 and eye up all of those dreamy dresses 😍

So why York?
As a true Yorkshire lass I’ve come back to my family roots, I never saw myself in York, but as my Dad, Gran & Grandad were born and bread York I feel a sense of belonging and like it was all just meant to be!

I know that I have some very loyal followers who have shown so much support on this journey over the past few years & as always for you I am so so grateful! I hope you’ll all continue to follow along to see where the rest of this journey leads 💃

Wow 😍

Now these photos are what it’s all about, magical moments filled with complete and utter love & joy, moments that will be cherished for a lifetime! Brides to be, these moments are what make all of the build up to the wedding day worth while 💕 absolutely stunning!

From the moment that Natalie stepped in to the shop with her Mum & Mother in law, right until the day before the wedding, I absolutely loved helping her on her bridal journey and supporting her with her search for her gorgeous dress!

She almost walked away empty handed as she wanted to think about the dress that she thought she was going to say yes to, until her mum spotted Dakota hanging in the back and said just give it a try💃 the rest was history!!! Well done to mum 🥳 sometimes ladies, mama really does know best!

Alterations were made to the length, train & bustle, the rest fit absolutely perfectly so only minimal work needed!

C O N G R A T U L A T I O N S ✨✨✨

To the newly wedded - Mr & Mrs Porter ❤️

Emma & Jay recently said their forever vows in absolute style both looking incredible as you can see here in these beautiful wedding day photos!!

Emma came to me certain that she was going to walk away with a completely different dress, one that she really loved and drove over an hour to say yes to - unbeknown to her though I had a gorgeous collection of wedding gowns waiting for her to try on just to make sure that she was making the right decision.

This one was love at first try! And can’t you just see why 😍

Alterations were then made to the size by taking in on the side seams alllll the way down, the length was shortened, the straps were lifted and a bustle added to the train giving Emma the perfect fit for her magical day🪄 ✨

Thank you Emma for choosing your dress with me! I’m so glad that I got to meet you and help you 🙏💕

So excited to share Marie’s special day with you all 😍 doesn’t she look absolutely stunning!!

Marie came to me originally with another dress, she had lost a lot of weight after purchasing it and she just didn’t love it any more.
We pinned her dress and spoke about alterations but she just wasn’t feeling it at all. She decided to try on a few of our dresses and instantly fell in love the moment she clapped eyes on HER dress ❤️🥰

Marie! I am so so glad that I got to help you with your dress! Just as you miss coming to try it on I miss you coming in to try it on too hahah!

We only made slight alterations to Marie’s dress including a little nip under the arms and a bustle as Marie was happy with the way everything else was feeling & fitting!

I S O B E L 😍

Congratulations to my Bride Isobel & her groom Alex on tying the 🪢 recently at 🎉 accompanied by their closest of family and friends - The photos speak for them selves, what an incredible day - doesn’t it look like they had so much fun!

Isobel came to see me after seeing our HARPER dress on Instagram and instantly fell in love! She knew the moment that she put it on that this was !

With nerves in the air and full of excitement she said a definite 🥳

When Isobel’s dress arrived it fitted really well, we only made slight changes to the sleeve, shortened the hems & added a bustle!

After a few appointments, a steam and a final collection Isobel got to wear her for the final time when she became Mrs Buckley!

What a beauty of a bride inside and out! It was a real pleasure to meet you and help you on your journey from Miss to Mrs!

So many beautiful photos coming in recently of my beautiful brides, I have to share them all with you but let’s start today with Kelly 😍

Stunning wedding day moments captured here at by when Kelly walked down the aisle in incredible style & said to the love of her life!

We altered Kelly’s dress by taking in on the sideseams making it tighter to give the perfect fit and to ensure that it stayed exactly where it needed to be all day! Not the most comfortable of dresses to wear all day as it is really quite structured and heavy but Kelly pulled it off incredibly!
We shortened the hems, the straps and added a bustle to the back, along with a few other little tweeks and voila 🪄 ✨

Perfection 👌

I think we can all agree that it looks like they all had the most magical day, little Lilly included, how extremely pretty does this little lady look 🥰 celebrating Mummy & Daddy’s special day!
