Hope everybody is staying safe and well and you and your loved ones are all steering clear of the corona virus 🤞🏻

As we can’t get used to not gigging and we miss our music family, we thought we would do a weekly session on the decks for an hour, this weeks set will be going out on Wednesday evening at 6pm on the Soul Train Sounds page and will be 70s soul....next week 80s soul, then if you like a bit of old school reggae, then Motown and finally 60s ska and will continue those sets on a rotational basis for an hour a week until we get to play for you in person again.

The live feed will hopefully stay on the page if you aren’t around on Wednesday for you to view at your leisure stay safe, stay at home and let’s enjoy a bit of soulful relief from the current sad situation x

Welcome to Faversham Vinyl Soul Club, a new monthly event organised by Jane Hawkins an enthusiastic soulie from Faversham, and hosted by The Limes Pub. Jane’s love of old school soul has led to the creation of a night for lovers of real dance music from the best decades of soul.

Soul Train Sounds, who are the resident DJ’s for this event, are a very experienced Faversham based husband and wife DJ team who have a number of monthly residencies all over Kent. They are known for their passion for the best soul music tunes and an obsession with hunting down tunes for your dancing pleasure. You are guaranteed a night of music that you will struggle not to dance to,,,,and best of all not a laptop in sight, all music is played on original vinyl

The best part of this monthly event is that it is held in a private function room with dancefloor, away from the main area of the pub with its own private bar so you know the people at the event are there to share your love of music. However, to enable that to happen the event is strictly TICKET ONLY, no exceptions
