NEWS FROM THE ASSEMBLY ROOMS
We’ve signed a lease agreement with the Alexander Centre and for a period they will be running the building. All the usual events will continue but the Alex will be bringing some of their work to the Assembly Rooms. This arrangement follows the fire at the turn of the year which has put the Gatefield Hall out of action. We’re delighted to help out a fellow Faversham organisation and to work together.
Bookings are now being handled by calling or emailing the Alex.

An absolute pleasure hosting the The Faversham Society and Faversham Town Council Volunteers Christmas event recognising the important work that their Volunteers do for Faversham!

Last night a festive gathering was held at the Assembly Rooms, with volunteers coming together from the Faversham Society Faversham Walking with History Guided Walks Faversham Fleur de Lis Museum Fleur Book Shop Faversham Town Council Faversham Charters and Magna Carta Faversham Hopper Community Bus Service to celebrate and to thank all the volunteers for their amazing work this year.

To all those behind the scenes and cameras, and those in front and customer facing, to all who give up their time to help make Faversham as great as it is, we thank you!

There are lots of different ways that you can volunteer in Faversham and help make a difference.

The Faversham Assembly Rooms were alive with elegance as the The Faversham Society stepped back in time for a beautiful Regency Ball in celebration of Jane Austen. From flowing empire-line gowns and dashing tailcoats, the whole night felt like a page out of an Austen novel.
