❤️ A Huge Heartfelt Thank You ❤️

A huge heartfelt thank you to everyone who supports our little Cake Kitchen.

Whether you’ve ordered a buffet, a birthday cake, a christening cake, celebration cupcakes, or simply popped into The Cake & Bake Hut for a slice of cake and a cuppa, we genuinely appreciate every single one of you.

Your support and loyalty mean the world to us.

It’s funny really because I always say, “Who doesn’t love a bit of cake?” and week after week you all prove me right… and of course, there’s always room for one of Speedy’s Cheesey Feet too! 🧀🐾

This week we’ve had the pleasure of creating some lovely celebration cakes.

🎣 A joint birthday cake for a Grandad and Grandson, complete with handmade figures of them enjoying one of their favourite pastimes together – fishing.

💗 A beautiful pretty-in-pink drip cake.

🎉 And a very special 85th birthday celebration, complete with a delicious buffet and cake for a truly lovely lady.

There is something incredibly special about taking a few simple ingredients and turning them into something that becomes part of a family’s celebration. Whether it’s a birthday, retirement, christening, anniversary or simply an excuse to get together, we never take for granted that you’ve chosen us to be a small part of your special moments.

So thank you for keeping us busy, for supporting our little Cake Kitchen and for continuing to share your celebrations with us.

We truly love what we do.

💖 THANK YOU, YOU ABSOLUTE LEGENDS! 💖

We honestly thought today's weather was auditioning for a disaster movie...

🌧️ Rain? Check.💨 Wind? Check.🍰 Potential airborne cake incident? Also check.

At one point we were convinced a Victoria Sponge was going to end up somewhere near Folkestone! 😂

So, with safety in mind (and to avoid a county-wide cake hunt), we relocated the Cake & Bake Hut into the back of the van. Not exactly glamorous, but it did the job!

And despite the weather behaving like a toddler who missed their nap, YOU still came.

You bought cake.You bought treats.You stood in the rain.You chatted.You supported us.

And for that, we are incredibly grateful. ❤️

Now we're setting our sights on Saturday 4th July and hoping Mother Nature has got all this nonsense out of her system by then! ☀️🤞

We're dreaming of:🍓 Cheesecake pots in the fridge☀️ Sunshine overhead🧁 The Cake Hut out of the van. @💨 And absolutely NO cake travelling independently down St John's Road.

🎉🥪🍰 Wow… it’s been a buffet kind of week! 🍰🥪🎉

We started with helping to celebrate the retirement of Dr Gould with a buffet for 75 guests, alongside a special celebration cake. 🎂🎈

Wishing Dr Gould a very happy and well-deserved retirement – may it be filled with relaxation, adventure, and plenty of cake! 🥳🍾

Sunday saw a lovely family buffet out🥪🍓🧁

And then there was our very own little Mollie, who turned the grand old age of 7! 🎉🎁🎈

Her request? A picnic cake featuring a koala 🐨 and a rabbit 🐰 ... and why not indeed! When you're 7, anything is possible. 💕✨

The best part? Every single component of this cake was handmade with love and care. 🎂🩷 From the tiny details to the koala and rabbit.

Thank you to everyone who continues to support our little kitchen adventures – we love being part of your celebrations, big and small. ❤️

A slightly quieter week for us in the kitchen this week before things get busy again 🍰✨

A scrummy fruit cake was made for an incredibly special occasion 🎂💛
How beautiful and amazing to reach 50 years of marriage — huge congratulations to them both 🥂💍✨

Then a little box of scrummyness went out for a very special son and daddy 🧁💙

We ended the week with a buffet for the lovely Kerry up at the SOS Sports Bar 🥪🍗🥗
If you’re ever looking for a venue with a great team to look after you, plenty of parking 🚗 and within walking distance of the Premier Inn and town centre, then that’s definitely the place for you ⭐️

🧁✨ WOW… WHAT A LOVELY DAY! ✨🧁

It was absolutely wonderful to be back at the Cake Hut and to see so many familiar faces — along with lots of lovely new ones too 😊

We really hope you all enjoyed the treats you purchased and perhaps even discovered a new favourite cake along the way 🍰💛

Thank you all so very much for your support, kindness and for popping by to see us. It honestly means the world to our little hut 🏡✨

We’re already looking forward to the next Cake Hut Day which will be:

During the summer we’ll be opening once a month, then once we reach September we’ll move to every other week ready for cosy cake season 🍂☕🧁
