It’s been so nice to see the sun this week and to enjoy all the spring flowers popping up all over the garden.

Planning and planting is well under way for this years cut flower season. The greenhouse is filling up well and fingers crossed this weather continues to give the growing a good head start. We’re really looking forward to this season and we hope you enjoy the many bunches and jam jars to come!

The growing never stops!

Today we are catching up with pricking out our biennials for next year. These seedlings are Hesperis matronalis (also know as Dames Violets or Sweet Rocket) which have pretty heads of petals and a wonderful fragrance, and will be in bloom for us around May next year.

Did you know we grow cut flowers in Faversham?

Unlike the international flower trade our locally grown blooms have a virtually non existent carbon footprint. We grow chemical free and with the seasons, supporting the soil and encouraging nature.
