GOODBYE FOR NOW 👋

It is with regret that True Promise Ceremonies is now closed for business for the foreseeable and I won't be taking any new ceremony bookings until further notice.

However I'm keeping this page alive as one day I very much hope to conduct wonderful ceremonies again! It has been an honour and privilege to work with so many amazing couples over the last 5 years.

For now I am focusing on my work with Outdoor Ceremonies and Association of Independent Celebrants... plus spending quality time with my family and enjoying not being away from the kids at weekends anymore😊

Completely in love with the styling from today's wedding at Farnham Castle Weddings - simple, stunning elegance.

Marcella and Ian met as two strangers from distant shores and found their home in London... so today they were keen to celebrate a "quintessentially English" wedding 😊 And it was wonderful. The perfect wedding at the perfect venue - Farnham Castle is absolutely beautiful.

Congratulations to Marcella and Ian, I loved being part of your day and wishing you a long and happy life together 💞

Congratulations to Lauren and Peter, who quite literally tied the knot today at the beautiful Oaks Farm Weddings

A joy to be a part of this ceremony and help a lovely couple to celebrate after enduring THREE postponements during covid!

Since their original wedding date they've had a gorgeous baby boy, and how lovely that he is able to be part of the day. The blue ribbon represented him and the whole new level of love and joy he's brought to their lives 💙

A wonderful weekend spent with my lovely friends and colleagues at the Association of Independent Celebrants AOIC Conference 💖

Huge thanks to Kim and Grace for all their efforts putting this together and making it such a success. So great to see you, and my lovely chum Louise C Smith Celebrant too 😘

Feel so lucky to have these people in my life, to have found my true vocation and to work with this fabulous association. Have to pinch myself sometimes...

Already looking forward to next year!

Such a wonderful ceremony today at Hampton Court House. We heard four handpicked readings and beautiful musical performances, told the couple's love story and witnessed them exchange the heartfelt vows they had written for one another💍

Another ceremony packed full of love, laughter and happy tears 🥰 Loving this car too!

What a fabulous ceremony yesterday at my local wedding venue Nonsuch Mansion ❤

The couple chose to move the ceremony inside due to unpredictable weather 🌤 but thankfully the sun came out for their reception so they had the best of both worlds 😊

Such a privilege to be a part of this wonderful day.

I love it when couples write their own vows! Here's an extract from Mike's vows to Katie, they were so beautiful 💚

On the day they decided they would rather not read them aloud, so I read them out and they answered their "I do" vows instead. Whoever reads them on the day, the sentiment is the same... and there was barely a dry eye in the garden 🥰
