Last Dahlia standing on the allotment, the rest have all been cut back and dug up for storing over winter.
In the spring we will be nestling them into their new plot which is a sunnier and bigger plot with a shed. We’ve met the kindest and interesting people on the allotment, worth putting your name down on a waiting list. Now back to seed sowing more Hardy Annuals and Sweet Peas 🌸🫘🍂

A glorious Peony day spend creating floral designs in Rachel’s hand thrown ceramic bowls. The Peonies may have been past their best but the roses were magnificent. If you need a day out and be immersed in a flower farm they offer lots of events and Saturday farm gate sale. Always a treat visiting this bunch

Happy May Bank holiday. Incase you are wondering we pick our flowers to order, message me if you interested in ordering Peonies. We have at least a couple more weeks of successional blooms coming. They don’t flower forever as much we would love that to be so. I guess that’s the beauty of growing seasonal flowers, fleeting beauties that can’t be preserved.💫
