It is with great sadness that I have decided to stop running Forest Fun birthday parties. Over the last nine years we have entertained over 3000 children at the beautiful Tilford Nature Reserve, still one of my favourite places to hang out. I feel very privileged to have spent so much time there and want to thank the wonderful team that have worked so hard and supported me. Vicki Gostage, Ali Welch, Charlie Stidston, Carolyn Stidston, Lucy Napier and Ruth Gardner. I’m so very grateful. The summer holiday club will continue - dates to be confirmed! Thank you to all the families who have booked Forest Fun over the years, we have always enjoyed the parties and will miss them. All the best. Zoe x

The party season has begun! And I am so glad that the parties were yesterday and not today as I sit here looking out at the trees being blown around by the howling wind and pouring rain. What lovely parties they were too so happy birthday Oliver and Swayze and I hope you and your friends had as much fun as we did. If you're thinking of booking a Forest Fun party, June is already full so it's worth making a request sooner rather than later. Zoe x

Happy New Year - although it already feels a long time ago despite New Year's Eve only being a couple of weeks ago! Just to let you know that bookings for parties are beginning to come in thick and fast and I already have a confirmed party in May so it is never too soon to get your children's party in the diary. The site is already booked by two other groups for June as well so parties might be limited around then so please don't miss out. If you are interested, please email me on [email protected]. I've booked my first party for 2018 which is great news! The last after school clubs are next week then a break for Christmas. Just a reminder that Forest Fun parties run from about the beginning of March until around the end of October so if you are interested, it would be worth enquiring sooner rather than later. I have been so busy this year that quite a few people missed out so don't let that be you! In the meantime, thank you to everyone for their support. All the best. Zoe

Forest Fun Parties has no more spaces for 2018 unfortunately. Thank you to everyone for their support and for booking us - it has been the busiest year ever and I have had to turn down more parties than I have actually run so I apologise to those people who were disappointed. I am looking forward to the confirmed parties we have coming up this autumn and hope for as much success in 2019! Best wishes Zoe

It's been a busy couple of weekends - four parties and all were great fun! We got rained on a bit yesterday but it didn't dampen the enthusiasm! Happy birthday Oliver, Poppy, Lewis and Dexter. I am now full until September and only have space for a few more parties in the Autumn so if you know someone who is thinking about September or October, please tell them to get in touch asap! I'm absolutely thrilled by how busy I am and thank everyone who has booked with Forest Fun this year.

So, Saturday was the first ever properly wet party we have run - not bad in three years - although even then, we did have a few dry spells! 15 x 4/5 year olds (with a couple of older ones) had great fun though, and we managed to keep the fire going which was a huge bonus. Thank goodness for the lovely weather on Sunday that meant I could dry everything out!! Happy birthday Annie and thank you for booking with us Charlotte and Ian.

Three years ago this weekend Forest Fun ran it's first birthday parties on a glorious hot, sunny day. Happy 8th birthday Pip, Cameron and Beck - my first birthday children.

First party of the year on Sunday which I was very concerned about - because of the weather! I checked the forecast on Saturday evening and it said solid rain from 6am-1pm (the party was from 10-1). When I woke up on Sunday morning, the weather forecast had changed and we in fact only got one light shower in the whole three hours! Looking forward to spring arriving properly though. Happy birthday Finlay. We had a great time and hope you and your friends did too.
