Another PLASA, another fantastic collaboration with the talented Robe Creative Team, led by Nathan Wan. 💡

For the 12th year running, Firebird Events was proud to support ROBE lighting’s ‘A World Beyond Reflection’ at PLASA London 2026. 🌍

Running five times each day, the stand delivered an immersive experience that showcased Robe’s latest innovations through creative storytelling, stunning visuals, cutting-edge lighting technology and perfectly choreographed show moments. 🎭

Visitors also had the opportunity to see the UK debut of the new Arianne series, alongside a host of other exciting products from across the Robe portfolio. 💫

A huge thank you to the entire Robe team for their continued trust, creativity and partnership. 🙌

Working together to bring ambitious ideas to life is always a highlight, and this year’s stand was truly exceptional. 🔥

21 years later… and it all started with work experience!✨

I was at university when I did my first bit of work experience with Firebird, and at the time, I had no idea that saying yes to that opportunity would lead to 21 years of incredible events, the loveliest people and a career I still love today. ❤️

From those early days of learning the ropes and discovering what happens behind the scenes, to the events, challenges, changing roles, maternity leaves, laughter and countless memories along the way — it’s been quite a journey! ✨

And now, 21 years on, it feels like the perfect time for a little trip down memory lane… 📸

We’re looking for a Production Crew Member to join our growing team and help bring our events to life!

You’ll be involved in the setup and breakdown of AV, sound, lighting and scenic elements, working as part of a hands-on team to deliver fantastic events for our clients.

It’s an exciting and varied role, with plenty of challenges, opportunities to learn new skills and scope for personal and professional development.
