I've been specialising in reportage Wedding photography for nearly six years now and I'm a huge fan of it. It's important to me that your photographs serve as memories, not just of what the day looked like but how it unfolded and how you felt and from my experience the only way to capture genuine emotion is to step back and document things as they happen. http://www.gallowayphotography.uk.com

⚡️My latest wedding is up on the website!⚡️

I've done plenty of travelling to weddings this year already, but for Jane and Joe's day was just a short trip to the beautiful Northbrook Park just outside Farnham.

Just the lovliest of couples, great weather, a relaxed feel to the whole day, and a donut tower...what's not to like?

It doesn't really feel like 'work' when it's photographing a day like this. To the backdrop of a beautiful location that is Lillibrooke Manor, with the lovliest, most down-to-earth couples along with an extremely friendly crowd, it was a pleasure to be able to capture it all.

London weddings are appearing on the horizon for this Spring/Summer, so here's one that really sticks out in my memory bank.

Bonnie & Robbie split their day between Marylebone Town Hall and Brunswick House, and it sure was an emotional one. Two fabulously down-to-earth people celebrating a milestone in their lives together.

Seeing as we're having such a sunny spell, I thought it was a good enough reason as any to dig into the archives and look for a particular sunny wedding.

Katie and Dave might hail from Australia but they still found it to be a bloody hot day like the rest of us. As a couple of Aussies put it to me at a wedding last Summer, "Yeah mate, but 30 degrees back home is NOT the same as 30 degrees in London." Fair point.

So we started at their place for a little prep, then headed over to Islington Town Hall for a very intimate ceremony. We were then joined by a few more friends across the road at a pub, before heading off to Bao in Borough Market. And to top if off...karaoke of course. A brilliant day all round.

A look back at Jess & Tom's AMAZING day in Brixton. An outdoor ceremony, oysters and Espresso Martinis on demand, and one hell of a party to round it all off.

Throwback Wednesday?

When it's a wet day in February and you're up to date with editing deadlines, there's one thing left to do...stalk you own website for inspiration and then post a wedding from yesteryear.

It was a music-filled day for Charlotte & Edmund as they tied the knot and celebrated in Islington. Following the ceremony at Islington Town Hall, the couple and their entourage headed to the Hemingford Arms for lunch, music, speeches and just a good old-fashioned pub knees-up. More music, cocktails and speeches followed later on at Hoxton & Porter, as everyone got their second wind. Not that it was really needed given that the day was so effortlessly fun and laid back.

⚡️My latest wedding is up on the website!⚡️

My second wedding of 2026 took me to Lord's Cricket Ground, specifically the iconic Pavilion, for V&M's special day. Bowled over to be a part of this day. Sorry.

Really nice to get from a wedding last night to find out that I've just won four WPJA awards (1 gold, 1 blue and 2 purple), one of which was taken at 100 Barrington earlier this year.

Thank you to all of my lovely couples who had me along for the ride in the first place. 😍
