Self employed bouncy castle delivery drivers needed, mainly weekend work, training and delivery van provided.
Must be 25+ with no convictions due to our van and liability insurance requirements.
Immediate start for the right candidate, weekend work with expected pay of £100+/day in spring and increasing during summer months with more bookings. Some weekday/evening work available subject to bookings and your availability but not a requirement.
Summary
As a Bouncy Castle Delivery Person, you will be responsible for the timely and safe delivery, collection and cleaning of inflatables and party equipment to various locations.
You will be able to handle heavy equipment using the appropriate equipment e.g. sack trucks and your experience in customer service and effective communication will ensure a fun, exciting and memorable experience for our customers.
Our insurance requires drivers to be over the age of 25 with no convictions.
Full Description
Kingdom of Castles supply bouncy castles, soft play & hot tubs to Farnborough and the surrounding areas using our company vans.
Daily rates from £50 for half day to £200+ for delivery, collection and/or deep cleaning of equipment, average pay is £100+ per day on a self employed, zero hours basis based on number of bookings delivered/collected.
Our work is primarily at weekends with some weekday work throughout the year, this could be an ideal role for someone looking for 16hrs a week, or a part-time income boost.
We’re looking for enthusiastic self-employed delivery people for a physically demanding, customer facing role with focus on safety compliance, attention to detail and customer service.
There is an opportunity to earn commission on upsales but hard selling is not desired.
Experience of driving large, long wheelbase vans a significant plus.
We’re looking for both Saturday and Sunday staff for an immediate start, full training will be given. Typical work schedule is alternating Saturday & Sunday for 3 weekends with the following weekend off.
Duties include:
Punctual delivery, set up, inspection, pack down & collection of hired equipment.
Pre & post hire cleaning/sanitising of hired equipment.
Customer safety briefing & paperwork.
Cash handling as necessary.
Regular deep cleaning of equipment.
Reporting equipment faults.
Requesting customer reviews on equipment collection.
Benefits:
Daily rates from £100 to £200+ for delivery and/or deep cleaning of equipment. Pay is per delivery/collection or unit deep cleaned. A typical summer day is an early start for deliveries in the morning, a few hours break, and collection into the evening. During the winter, 2-4 hour hall hires are most common, generally starting around 10am and finished around 6pm.
Commission on upsale of add-on equipment.
1 free hire of equipment (which can be gifted to friends/family).
The ideal applicant will be:
Physically capable of handling large, heavy (50-150kg+) bouncy castles;
Detail oriented and safety focussed;
Skilled in customer facing service;
Excellent at problem solving.
