For the first time in Rushmoor’s history, Africans in Rushmoor laid two wreaths on Remembrance Day, one at the Cenotaph and another at the Royal Garrison Church in Aldershot. Heartfelt thanks to Eddie and Catherine for proudly representing Africans in Rushmoor.

Happy Black History Month!

It was an absolute honour to celebrate Rushmoor Cultural Day alongside Black History Month 2025, surrounded by the incredible support of our community. The event was truly inspiring, a wonderful turnout, a vibrant atmosphere, and great company all around.

This celebration was more than just an event; it was a powerful reminder of the strength that comes from unity, culture, and shared purpose. The energy was electric, the diversity was beautiful, and the sense of togetherness was deeply moving.

We are sincerely grateful to everyone who came along, participated, volunteered, performed, or simply showed up to support and celebrate. Your presence made the day truly special and created lasting memories of culture, pride, and community spirit.

Here’s to continuing the spirit of Standing Firm in Power and Pride, not just this month, but every day as we uplift, empower, and celebrate our community together.

Today feels like an African Day in the UK. Happy Africa Day to all my Facebook friends & families who are blessed to have an African heritage. As a Mauritian born, Africa has always been close to my heart. If you are around Rushmoor Cultural Day Event ,, Aldershot Garrison, BFBS Aldershot,
