And just like that my time Fast Forward 15 has come to an end!
What a wonderful year it has been.

I have loved being a mentee and cannot thank my mentor Vicky enough!

I have become a more confident, happy, motivated event professional with clearer goals.

Having started a new role I am truly grateful to Fay, the mentors, mentees, guest speakers and event Industry contacts I have met on this journey.

The late night calls, weekend work, education away days, mentorship, events and opportunities are a once in a life time experience. Thank you

Sooo this happened!

Started my new role at Groceryaid as a fundraising executive! 👩‍💼

Been here for a week and have already learned so much! Looking forward to my new career where I will grow, develop and gain experience in a new charity sector

This charity has been providing emotional, practical and financial support for grocery people since 1857 and hosting outstanding events to raise valuable funds and awareness

The day I accepted the role I went for a run and saw a rainbow 🌈 which is the charities logo - it was a sign!!

Rewind a few years and I remember going to my first thinking I want to stand on that stage one day.

On Tuesday I achieved that goal! Speaking along side Fay Sharpe OBE Griffith and Zarywacz about goal setting, empowering, inspiring and achieving - I loved it!

Another goal of mine as part of the Fast Forward 15® programme was public speaking, now I’m usually know as ‘clipboard corin’, hidden at the back of the room (no one knows I have managed the event) so this year I said YES and instead put my self forward to be front and centre and hosted The Bingo Ball with Pether and and what an amazing night it was!

The past year has been full on but so worth it and I wouldn’t have been able to do it with out the FF15 queens .kwon .with.becca

What a great couple of days in Brighton with the mentor and mentees and presenters.

Such amazing hospitality and delicious food at Brighton. Thank you

Such a great education day spending time reflecting, learning and developing.

It all started with Fay Sharpe OBE £1000 paper airplane gift

Andrew Allen and Devereaux improv session
👏 Robert Kenward - Fitability® recruiter - 3
Then onto the perfect picnic with

Next a session with - I look forward to revamping my CV and LinkedIn

Then on to how to be a better listener - I’m sorry to everyone I have ever interrupted- I’m going to be a better listener thanks to .with.becca Whittles and Lavin . From listening to Kwon I’m now going to try journaling

Next I spoke with Fay about my burn out and what my guardian angel would suggest I do to improve this - funny thing is I already knew the answer myself just been to action it!
mosley.716 then shared his inspiring story and the core performance pie.

Next up we were up on our feet with the amazing Bool 🌼 from
- the power of dance! Yes, I will be strutting onto that stage Tuesday at

It’s was so lovely to spend time with such motivational and empowering event industry experts.

On top of all this I managed to squeeze in 2 5K runs! (At a struggle)

Thank you to my amazing mentee

I am a mentee on the program, which is headed up by Fay Sharpe, OBE and aims to develop women in the events industry into strong leaders.

As part of this program, myself and the 14 other event industry professionals are organising a fabulous evening of entertainment, fundraising, and networking for a mental health charity for the LGBTQ+ community, and the FF15 program.

I am part of the Marketing and PR team for this year’s event.

A head of the FF15 charity event, The Bingo Ball, on 8th March. Join via IG Live, FF15 founder Fay Sharpe, mentee and founder of Pip events (me) and Malaika from MindOut (this year’s charity) on 8th Feb at 12:30 where we will be discussing the charity, the Bingo Ball event, the FF15 programme and how you can get your hands on Bingo Ball tickets

My top tips for your setting your Christmas Day dining table! What do you have planned?

My top tips for your setting your Christmas Day dining table!

What do you have planned?

In the world of Events, Hospitality and Catering, Christmas can mean longer hours, busier shifts, and less time to plan for Christmas Day 🎄

If you’re struggling for last minute preparations for your Christmas Day Table, here are some top tips from ;

1. Use what you already have! Christmas tree ornaments aren’t just for the tree. They look amazing dotted around on the table.
2. Light up the table with strings of fairy lights – They illuminate off glasses, vases, and glitter.
3. Gift Wrap left over boxes, they make great centre pieces, very low cost but great impact for the theme.
4. Why not include candy sticks and gingerbread.
5. If you have small gifts to give to your guests, rather than putting them under the tree, place them on the table, and it a make it part of the dining experience.

Had such a wonderful day at the weekend, at workshop making a Christmas wreath.

Driving to her work shop it started to snow! Then to be welcomed by Kay, tea, mince pies and music I am really in the Christmas spirit!

Definitely recommend Kay - she was just lovely and guided the group with top tips and advise. Clearly a master of her field!

I cannot wait to sign up to another workshop
