We know it’s been a little quiet on here recently… but only because we’ve been working away behind the scenes on something new.
Imagine hosting your birthday party, wedding reception or family celebration in a beautiful venue — and effectively paying nothing for the hire.

Here’s how it works:
Secure your date with a £995 deposit. If your guests enjoy themselves and the bar spend exceeds £995 + VAT, we’ll refund the full £995 back to you within 5 working days after the event.

That means you’ve just hosted an incredible celebration with us… on the house, thanks to your guests.

A few key details:
• Minimum 50 guests
• Available Fridays & Saturdays
• Venue access from 5pm
• No confetti or open flames

Full terms & details are available when enquiring.

If you’ve been looking for the perfect place to celebrate, this might just be it.

Have you been looking for somewhere unique to hold your Wedding Reception? Of course you have!

You are looking for somewhere that is better than your local or a community hall, but not completely a dedicated wedding venue, or even a large chain of hotels...

You want something personal, something you can put your own personality on, without it breaking the ever looming wedding budget...

Drop the team a message and let's get that Reception booked in!

Did you know that this year will mark five years of hosting weddings, parties and events at The Dovecote Eatery?

We have built space from the ground up and we are forever making improvements to ensure all of our events have the best possible space whilst also enabling a DIY element, no matter the type of event you want to hold with us!

We have some big things happening this year, is it a bit of a birthday treat? Maybe 😂, but for the most part it's because we want to make this the best space in the south to hold events of all sizes!

If you are keen to book in an event with us, make sure you get in touch, either here or over on www.nestandanchor.co.uk

Some venues come with a long list of “don’ts”.

No outside food.
No food trucks.
No moving furniture.
No personality.

We prefer to focus on what you can do.

Bring your people.
Bring your favourite suppliers.
Bring the food you actually love, whether that’s street food, a private chef or a pizza van.
Bring your ideas, your styling, your playlists and the little details that make the day feel like you.

The Dovecote gives you the space and the freedom to create something personal, relaxed and genuinely meaningful...without forcing you into a pre-set mould.

If you want a venue that lets you take control and make it your own, you’re in the right place.
