Out for a lunch break today with “he who would like to be obeyed”…
This glorious hidden gem is at Gweek Boatyard. First time I’ve been when the tide is in. Lovely to see little shoals, egrits, seagulls and people enjoying themselves. Particularly taken by the couple who’d brought sketch pads and pastels.

It’s all fresh, so not fast food - well… it does go rather fast once you receive it!
Well worth a visit.

At the Orange Ora, Mevagissey. Gorgeous view overlooking all the harbour action.
Try the cheese, ham and chutney toastie!

If you’ve not been before, walk down to the harbour, then along towards the Mays Pasty’s - bright orange frontage - you can’t miss it!

Libby and team really make this place special - even dogs get treats!

Any excuse frankly! Notice the correct positioning and ratio of jam, cream and warm scone!

What was my excuse for this indulgence? A portrait shoot.

I love this place- Hotel Meuden, near Mawnan Smith. Not just for the food and service, but for the many backdrops and different lighting opportunities on offer. The interiors themselves offer everything from mullions to modern. The gardens have many benches, nooks and delightful floral spaces- and you can reach the beach if you wish.

So many chances to create different business stories for a client. We used loads!

Every now and again, you get a face the camera loves - today was this day! Can’t wait to show off some of the final images!

Always nice to meet Cornish talent! Especially when it could enhance the commercial offer of others.

Do you offer hotel accommodation, B&B, holiday stays? Here is one quite easy way to enhance the experience for your guests - hang decent sized, original art, on your walls.

No, it isn’t as cheap as a print , but it gives a vastly different “feel” to your offering. It will look great in your online listings and ..What’s more, if you buy well, that original art can always be sold onwards when you fancy a change.

Today I met Michael Hindle in his new gallery within Gweek boatyard - well worth a visit!
All sizes of original paintings available. Any of his would enhance your letting space. (Look pretty good on home walls too!)

If you visit, there is local parking and a great quality cafe opposite.

Fascinating launch event at Scorrier House this morning. Sophie Gratton brought together truly inspiring speakers in Perry Hughes and Emily G Cunningham MBE.
Such a big change for me to not have a camera in hand and to be able to properly concentrate on all the content.
Very kindly, folks offered to take photos of me! I also had a go at a couple of “selfies” which I rarely remember to do.
Great to meet so many new people, as well as connect again with old friends.
Looking forward to whatever is being planned next!

If you’re in St Austell today then why not pop down to Poltair Park for their Free annual family fun day.
Lots of things to see and do and of course the amazing Cornwall Blood Bikes are their too 🥰
