As our week begins our can be no better than reflecting on what a very special weekend we have thoroughly enjoyed being a part of.
Whilst at the Cornish Winter Fair, we were so proud to unveil our very special anniversary project: the Cornwall Blood Bikes 2026 Charity Calendar, created to mark and celebrate a decade of service.
We have worked alongside the fabulous Lizzie Melvin Elizabeth Melvin Photography whose unique talent is capturing the very essence of the individuals who really do go that extra mile.

This calendar has beautifully captured and reflects the spirit of our volunteers, the landscapes of Cornwall, the partnerships we are so privileged to work alongside as we support each other, and the friendships formed along the way.
It celebrates our story — who we are, what we do, and the unsung heroes who make it all possible.

I do like to play a little!

(Just to highlight, these aren’t official Rosemullion Distillery images - just me experimenting with colours and lights!)

I’d been doing the regular white background images for their web pages.. when my brain went “if this was upside down and I painted it blue - it would look like a cocktail in a glass…
Then there was the polished top of a grand piano …. Then a few Christmas props…

Fancy a studio portrait?

Izanti studio is offering their space to rent by the hour at Perranarworthal. … which means I can hire it too!

So, if you prefer a more “studio” look, or prefer to be photographed totally privately - then I can now offer you that.

Of course natural light, outdoor and location shooting is also still available.

If you are closer to Bodmin, then Shane Solomon allows me to make use of his studio space.

Get in touch if the idea floats your boat!

New piece of kit has arrived!

Basically, it's a full "pop up" mini studio in a large carry case. Really sturdy, so not like the pop up light tent offers.

Even controllable light for that perfect white background product shot. Suitable for small jewellery items right up to large bottles.

So... if you need such photography..please ask!

£150,000 for a ring?!!!

Take a look at this one that I recently got to photograph. Virtually flawless natural, huge solitaire diamond.

Where might you buy such a “one off” gem? Cornwall Jewellery Company on Church Street, Falmouth.

They have other unique pieces too. You just have to get them whilst you can as there will be no other the same once bought!

Anyone remember the kids programme “Marrying Mum and Dad”? This is from 11 years ago now.

It was all about the children organising a wedding for their parents. Interestingly, the programme didn’t provide any couples with a photographer - so Debbie and Mark got permission for me to cover theirs.

I had to dress as a guest and remember not to get in the way!

It was a racing themed choice held at Silverstone race track. Debbie and Mark got to race each other, in bone fide racing cars. …. a totally unique wedding.

We all got on so well by the end, that the film team asked me to take a full wedding and team photo. This ended up featuring in a local magazine too.

Huge fun today creating more images for more pages of this year’s charity calendar supporting Cornwall’s own Bloodbikes.
Fabulous bunch of volunteers making life changing deliveries for folks of all ages in times of greatest need.
