Throw back to Jade & Craig's wedding

How the time has flown by!
I loved working with this couple in the lead up to their big day! They've been back to Cornwall for visits over the years, and we've even managed to squeeze in a catch up over a drink.

I rarely get in any photos (unless preparation shots while I'm setting up) as I'm often running around. But this was one of them rare moments I got pulled in for a snap.

My oh my I am feeling the love! 🥰
It's been a week since I left my job at The Rosevine, and just my 3rd day working for the council.
I've had 2 flower deliveries from some amazing couples I've worked with in the past!
Thank you so much Mr & Mrs Scanlan 💐 and Mr & Mrs Mitchell 💐 they're absolutely gorgeous and have made my week even more special! 🥰
I'm over the moon that I've worked with such lovely people in the past, and my new team have been so supporting in my new role. Thank you for letting me be a part of your special day!

Over the past years I've worked many weddings, and I can honestly say it's been amazing!
It's been a tough decision, but after Thursday I will no longer be a full time weddings and events manager 😢 I'm making a huge career change and leaping over to mental health. Though hopefully I'll still dip into weddings a bit and help couples where I can.
I have loved these past years, met some amazing people and worked some very memorable weddings!
As I work my last few shifts at the hotel, I had the lovely Sophie come in to see me before her wedding this summer to say thank you and to wish me luck 🥰 I can honestly say I am feeling the love! Thank you so much for thr card and flowers! It has made my day!

I got into the weddings and events industry 7 years ago!
I started with just dipping into it here and there: helping with the odd event, running dance classes, helping with a couple of weddings, those sorts of things. It was at this time I was awarded regional volunteer of the year (in the southwest). This feels like a lifetime ago!
Over the years I have developed my skills and learnt all different aspects of weddings and events, from the small things.... To the big things! I am ever so grateful to everyone who has helped me get to where I am today.

It's been a tuff year 2020! And I can honestly say I never expected something like covid to hit the industry so hard, let alone have the country in a national lockdown over the summer.

I've now had my last wedding of the year, and have many to look forward to next year! I'm just praying that things have cleared up by then 🤞
