Nothing beats a black metal show right in the middle of Summer on a Thursday night and Offworld Endeavours is happy to oblige by bringing four bands for which you may bangeth your head.

PARUSIGHT is coming down from Bristol for their first ever Cornish show. Four piece, raw black metal inspired by the second wave of black metal in the 90s and a dose of modern melodic castle-metal PARUSIGHT brings eerie, razor sharp guitar tone and rasping vocals to their gothic themes of fantasy, loneliness, love, death and coldness. There are slower moments of atmospheric mournfulness combined with anthemic highs and cathartic triumph born through pain but all the way PARUSIGHT never loose sight of the raw, DIY spirit of true black metal. Praise the dark lord that there is finally some black metal coming to Kernow.

Support comes from:
TOKER - Falmouth stoner/doom heavyweights. If you have not yet caught them flattening an audience with RIFFS then now is your chance!

TEMPLE OF BELINUS - new dungeon synth project from Falmouth. Featuring the mastermind behind local industrial crushers 7th HEATHEN. It’s going to be sick. Hoping that this will be for fans of early Mortiis but we’ll have to wait and see.

ZIPIT - first show for this new Falmouth beatdown/hardcore. No expectations except their singer has a crazy vocal range and a wild presence in life in general, so looking forward to seeing them on stage! Expect some two-stepping at the least.

Doors at 7:30. First band on around 8pm. Tickets £8 online via the Cornish Bank website or on the door. If you don’t have enough cash, just have a quiet word - you will not be denied entry. Metal is for everyone.

Under 16s accompanied by a responsible adult if attending.

As always - HEAD BANGERS TO THE FRONT.

All the way from Mexico, OFFWORLD ENDEAVOURS and REEF RAGE are beyond thrilled to be hosting the boundary-busting SOGA on their UK-wide tour, right here in Penryn’s Fish Factory!

SOGA are an integral part of Mexico City’s music scene, providing the connective tissue between the sounds of first generation punk, friendship, feminism, and the urgency of hardcore. The band began life in 2018, releasing a stunning demo that sent us into a frenzy of excitement. Such scrap and power. We could not wait to hear what came next… With some time to steep and a slight personnel shift, the resulting ‘Corrosión’ is a ferocious hardcore inferno of a proper debut album. Twelve songs bursting with rage pointed at what they’ve witnessed first-hand that is wrong in their home country: disappearances, mass graves, femicides, male oppression, societal expectations towards women, gentrification, right-wing bigotry, and international corporation violence towards the land and resources.
(Iron Lung Records)

Supporting them are three more phenomenal acts:
CANDLE SNUFFER bring the local buzz as Falmouth Stoner Sludge; in the words of Whisper Magazine reviewing their first gig at Cornish Bank: ‘ towering riffs, thunderous drums, roaring basslines and gritty vocals, and you’ll get CandleSnuffer’!
DREDGE are Q***r, antifascist sludge from Plymouth, screaming their sludge, doom and hardcore fusion across the waves. Their gigs have produced incredible energy and it’s a pleasure to have them on board!
VULGARIS, meaning ‘common, or something that is derived from the masses of common people’, promises to be anything but the commonly expected - mischievous, subversive and atmospheric, and rapidly causing a stir in the Alt scene!
