BBC's DIY SOS is coming to Newton Mearns this summer to help the incredible Connolly family, who have not long suffered a heartbreaking loss 💔

Daughter Nell has endured multiple operations throughout her life and will be a wheelchair user for life. Her mum, Gill, gave up work to care for her - but in September last year, Gil passed away suddenly.

Dad Raymond had to bring building work, to adapt the family home to Nell's needs, to a halt. Now, Nick Knowles and team are calling on trades, volunteers and suppliers around Glasgow to help the Connollys 🔨
