Falkirk Trinity

Falkirk Trinity We are a welcoming Church in the heart of Falkirk town centre. Services start at 10.30am on Sundays, 11.30am on Wednesdays. Worship is led by the Rev.

Robert Allan. Just a few yards from Falkirk’s High Street is the kirkyard of Falkirk Trinity Church of Scotland. Here, in this ‘sacred acre’ you will discover more than a thousand years of Scottish history from the time of the Dark Age missionaries whose first Church gave the town its name. Our story goes back to the amazing Celtic mission of the 6th century when St. Modan came to central Scotland

. It continues through the mediaeval Catholic Church and the Reformation of the 16th century down to this present ecumenical age. In and around this present building, which dates from 1811, are signs of the story of Scotland and of the town and community of Falkirk. The story doesn’t end in a museum, but in a living Church of today and tomorrow – a busy parish Church seeking in lively worship and active service to develop what we have been handed down in the ongoing mission of Jesus Christ. The Church is yours to visit, to enjoy, to be quiet in, to worship in. To be part of the ‘faw kirk’ is to be one of God’s bairns, one of the living stones that make up the speckled, multi-coloured Church of yesterday, today and tomorrow bound together by God’s lively spirit.
