It's not too long till Imbolc (1st Feb) as the first hints of spring start emerging from their winter slumber.

Here is a little video shared by the lovely Shuna about how to make a Brigid's Cross using rushes - https://fb.watch/i_aKur_ftB/

These were traditionally made at the Celtic festival of Imbolc and hung in doorways to bless those who entered and as a sign of protection for the home.

It is believed that Brigid (Brighid, Bride, Brigit), was so loved as a pagan Goddess that her worship was woven into the Christian church as St Bridget. She is a Goddess of healing, poetry and Smithcraft. She is a Goddess of Fire, of the Sun and of the Hearth. She brings fertility to the land and its people and is closely connected to midwives and new-born babies.

Thank you Shuna for sharing 🙏
