Weddings are our speciality; we have been established since 2002, and are now considered by many to be one of the leading bespoke venues in the midlands. We have grown gradually while retaining our enthusiasm for each occasion; every wedding is different! Extending from the 18th Century farmhouse set in pretty gardens is the vaulted hall which is licensed to hold civil weddings and partnerships. A

lternatively couples can get married in their local Church and come to Crockwell for their wedding reception. The main marquee can seat up to a maximum of 200 guests, but can equally be tailored to suit much smaller parties. Crockwell is exclusively yours for the day. We do not take full wedding bookings on consecutive days which gives you the freedom to be totally relaxed, without the pressure of set arrival and departure times.

🌻 The garden and grounds are looking extra lovely this time of year.

The showcase is a fantastic opportunity to see the venue and accommodation, talk to the team and enquire with some of our amazing recommended suppliers 💛, including .photography who took these stunning pictures for Liberty & Jonathan back in 2024. 🌱 Sustainability progress in action 🌱

Back in 2021, we entered 400 acres of Crockwell farmland into the UK Countryside Stewardship Scheme — a step that reflects our long-term commitment to farming in harmony with nature.

As part of the scheme, we’re growing a wildflower and grass mix rich in red clover, which is absolutely thriving this year 🌸🐝

Not only does it provide valuable habitat and food sources for pollinators and wildlife, but research suggests that newly created wildflower meadows on former arable land can capture significant amounts of carbon — rising even further when a red clover-rich mix is used.

Based on our 2023 GHG calculations, this work contributed towards Crockwell becoming carbon negative by 135.28 tonnes.

We know carbon offsetting alone is not a long-term solution to climate change, but for us this is part of a much bigger journey: improving biodiversity, building healthier soils, and reducing our environmental impact year by year.

By 2030, our goals are to:
♻️ Halve the amount of waste we send to landfill
🌍 Reduce our greenhouse gas emissions by one third (like-for-like reporting)

👋 Meet the team behind your wedding

Katie - An experienced wedding coordinator, she runs her own business whilst also supporting our couples. Highly organised and calm under pressure, she is a valued member of our team.

Sarah S - With a successful fashion industry background, Sarah joined us in 2019. Known for her bubbly yet calming presence, she’s a reassuring support on the wedding day. Sarah is a great advocate of the Crockwell ethos and a fantastic coordinator.

Jo - Joyous to be around and relishes getting to know our couples, she enjoys helping each couple along on their wedding journey and running their special day. Jo’s enthusiasm for the job is infectious.

Casey - Our newest member of the team and our amazing bar manager! Having worked in hospitality for over 10 years, Casey knows how to manage high-end events and is passionate about delivering a seamless bar service.

Will - Heading up our planning team, Will has been at Crockwell since 2017. An excellent eye for detail and a calm and thoughtful manner, he supports our couples and brings their vision to life.

Sarah G - A fantastic addition to our planning team since joining us in 2025. Sarah conducts many of our viewings and works closely with our couples to deliver their special day.

Suzanne - Our housekeeping manager and talented breakfast chef. Alongside running our accommodation, Suzanne also runs Eydon’s Pantry which is a popular option for dinner the night before at Crockwell.

Amy - Daughter to our venue founders Bay & Hermione, Amy is the driving force at Crockwell and ensures the continuity of the family business as our Director. Amy is also an ambassador for the working to drive positive change in the wedding industry.

Joe - Head of maintenance and our Co-Director, Joe’s keen interest in sustainability ensures the venue works in partnership with nature. He also makes sure the venue continues to work like clockwork!

Bay & Hermione - Our founders and original Crockwell couple, holding their reception here in 1987! Bay overlooks every aspect of the venue and Hermione is responsible for our wonderful gardens.

🌸 An opportune moment to reflect and remember that when planning a wedding, our choices matter!

💚 Our wildflowers are starting to thrive around the farm and we are currently in the process of installing further solar panels and EV charging points for our guests.

🙌 We are thrilled to also work with all of our recommended suppliers who share similar sustainable values and also all obtain their own comprehensive sustainability policy and carbon reduction plan 💪
