🔆 New Wire Workshop Date 🔆

Mum and I had a bit of a breather this year whilst I undertook the new field and only held a couple of workshops at the beginning of the year.

Next year we shall release a whole programme for you to choose from and they will be held in the meadow in the gazebo. The table will be my big workshop table, dressed with gorgeous flowers and candles and there will be a chance to have a walk in the flower plot and for me to show you my plans. It’s a really beautiful setting 🫶🏼🫶🏼

Wire Sunflower Workshop 🌻
Saturday the 27th September
10-12.30pm
Come and learn how to make a bunch of wire sunflowers. 🌻 with the unbelievably talented , award winning wire sculptor and also my mumma 😆

Cost: £55pp to include flowers and refreshments and of course your beautiful bunch of wire sunflowers

Location- The flower farm on the Sidmouth Road, between Woodbury Salterton and Aylesbeare. Full directions will be given on booking.

We are running just one session for this wire workshop so spaces will be super limited. Everyone gets a lovely bunch of flowers to take home too - including your sunflowers

It will be the end of a great summer and we are excited to hold our first collaborative workshop here 🤗. As always, mum and I really do put on magical little events and this will be no different.

It was back to Hampshire for another wedding mid week. Like a travelling salesman I am 😆😆

Our next Yoga & Flowers session is being held on the 13th September. A morning session and an afternoon session.

We have 2 spaces left in the afternoon and 3 spaces left in the morning.

This super popular and special collaboration between my friend Holly from and I are one of my favourite workshops to run. Held at her gorgeous yoga barn on her eucalyptus farm on the edge of Dartmoor, it really is very special.

Super easy to get to - from Woodbury it takes roughly 30 minutes.

Starting with a wonderful hour of yoga (I’ve taken part in this before and it’s great and suitable for ALL yoga abilities) followed by oodles of homemade cake and tea and coffee - you’ll have plenty of time to have a wander in the eucalyptus trees. It is so wonderful.

We finish the session off with making a fabulous creative flower arrangement - and there will be lots of dahlias 🤗🤗

Scoop up the last couple of spaces. You’ll have such a wonderful time 🫶🏼😘

The only thing I have direct sown this year are my sunflowers. I feel it’s a pretty safe bet - you may want to cover if you have a pigeon problem, but I genuinely think sunflowers are ok to sow in the ground.

Sowing directly means the plant creates a really long and strong tap root, meaning they don’t need anywhere near as much water as plug grown plants.

I don’t grow the traditional yellow sunflowers but choose this lovely variety - Ruby eclipse. It will also branch, meaning the side shoots will produce smaller heads and longer thinner stems, which are much easier to use.

The first crop is ready and I’ll be tucking these into bouquets. If you’d like a bunch of 5 I’ll happy make up some for £8 or 10 stems for £15 . Collection only. They won’t be on the website as that’s too much faff

On the 11th September I’m holding my first workshop at the new plot. A flower club affair with tea, coffee and an opportunity to spend an hour or two here picking flowers and making an arrangement.

It will be held in my lovely gazebo on the meadow part of the field. You’ll have the opportunity to see my plans for the future and just be part of a really lovely florally morning. Very relaxed.

There are only 8 spaces available for this first session, with some bookings already made. So it’s not a big crew 🤗

I’d love to see you, I really would.
