Set in the historic city of Exeter in the South West of England it’s a busy showroom/workshop where Sarah creates a range of beautiful wedding dresses, bridal and couture wear. Sarah Treble instinctively knows what’s going to suit her clients. rivacy of her Devon design studio you can choose from her couture collection or discuss a bespoke dress design. The process, which begins with a consultation to discuss ideas, is friendly and fun. Try on samples and with Sarah’s help select a dress that suits both your personality as well as your body shape. Sarah Treble, a graduate of St Martins in London, has over 20 years of experience working as a fashion designer, including three seasons as head designer for Valentino in Italy, which instilled in her a love for haute couture. Sarah set up her bridal dress design studio in London in 1998 and returned to her native Devon in 2009. Katie brought this fabulous 70s vintage dress to me that she wanted to wear on her wedding day.
I altered it to fit her perfectly, made a few adjustments (lining the sleeves) and most importantly, carefully soaked it in (amazing stuff) to bring it back to its former, bright white glory.
A lovely project!
