A local has captured a stunning image of a dolphin swimming in front of summer sunset in Cornwall. Amber Palfrey, 25, captured the shot while out on a boat south of Looe island.
The young hobby photographer who lives in Looe works for Looe Sea Safari which runs wildlife boat trips. Amber said her photographs make her 'feel lucky to live in such a beautiful place'.

South African photographer Mark Dumbleton captured this powerful image of a lioness after a violent fight with a predator. She lost one of her teeth in the struggle but managed to protect her cub, ensuring his survival.
In the photograph, her face is stained with blood as she embraces her little one. The cub, named Ali, appears unaware of his mother’s pain and sacrifice—but one day, when he grows and takes on the responsibility of protecting the pride, he will understand the depth of her devotion.
This striking image is a reminder of the sacrifices mothers make, no matter the species.
