Today, at the beach, I came across this wonderful woman walking barefoot alongside her husband. She was wearing this beautiful dress in celebration of her beautiful self at the full moon. On the back panel were shells with words which represented past memories for her, and in the front were shells for new hopes and dreams, and baskets to catch what came her way. She took my breath away with her joyous spirit, this goddess feeling the earth between her sandy toes, and breathing the energy of the sea. I was in awe of them both. She gave me permission to share the photos 🙏 but I didn’t take her name to send them to her 🫣 I hope she gets to see them, perhaps someone knows her?

Forgive the indulgence … My wedding to my lovely husband set the desire to become a wedding celebrant after we created the most beautiful handfasting in the woods with our friend Phil, who wrote and conducted the ceremony for us.
We chose lughnassa for our nuptials as it such a beautiful time of year full of warmth, light and abundance, a celebration of the harvest blessings. We felt we had many blessings 🙏 That day the sun shone and dappled through the tree canopy right onto the alter we had created. The stream played its own music for us as it babbled on by. Passers by stopped to witness in curiosity - we were deep into the woods in full wedding attire, so a curious site we must have been calling in the elements, hearing the words of the star goddess surrounded by family and friends. It’s still a magical spot in the woods on The Quantocks.
Bright Lughnassa blessings to you ☀️🌾🙏
Happy heavenly anniversary to my lovely Pete ❤️

The show must go on!! A big fear as a celebrant is something getting in the way of way of literally getting to the ceremony. I always say to my couples that I will be there no matter what, unless I’m hospitalised or highly infectious! Gaby & Greg’s ceremony was no different and they were very understanding 🙏 I intended to park the crutches and take off the boot for the ceremony, but as both of the grooms parents were nurses; that wasn’t allowed! So, I wobbled through and made a joke in the ceremony of how I’d gotten into this predicament. It sounded cooler than it really was! I must also give grateful thanks to my lovely friend Sue for driving me there and back. I’m blessed to know such lovely people and be able to call them friends. Thank you for the photos and for the wonderful review you left for me on google. 🙏 🏍️

It was a beautiful day for G&G’s Celebration of Marriage last week. Having tied the knot with the brides family in Ecuador, they all came to the UK to celebrate with the grooms family and friends. There was a blessing of the rings they exchanged in Ecuador, and emotional vows exchanged in English & Spanish. Much love, laughter, and tears of joy. Wishing G&G much happiness in their next chapter in Abu Dhabi. ❤️
