From sunshine-filled afternoons to sparkler-lit evenings, The Courtyard sits at the heart of it all.

A space made for gathering, celebrating and squeezing every last drop out of your wedding day.

We see some truly brilliant ideas at the weddings held here, and this one is definitely up there with our favourites.

Alongside a traditional guest book, L & A asked their friends and family to leave a little note on a playing card - sharing their love, well wishes and words of wisdom for the years ahead.

A simple idea, but one that will be treasured forever.

So years from now, over a game of poker or rummy, they'll be able to revisit the messages from the people who celebrated their day right alongside them.

We absolutely love this one.

On a day-to-day basis, they're simply the shutters to Archie’s Workshop — our treasure trove of props, décor and all the little details that make make wedding at The Barns come to life.

But on a wedding day? They really come into their own.

Taking pride of place in The Courtyard, they've become the backdrop for bridal party giggles, couple portraits and some seriously gorgeous photo moments.
