A lovely intimate 70th Birthday celebrations for the lovely Tony - one half of a wonderful couple I have worked for on numerous occasions. It’s always such a pleasure working for repeat customers you really get to know them and their family and friends which I think is really important and allows me to give a much more personal service.

Sharon and Tony have been through a lot together and their love shines through a lovely couple. They have gratefully recommended me to their friends who I have also catered for. So when an event comes up with this lovely bunch of people I really look forward to it and enjoy catching up with them all.

Held at a wonderfully intimate venue Eden in Epping, small but perfect for up to 50 guests. Aesthetically pleasing, great bar staff, the owners ok, swears a lot (Sorry Steve 🤪). It’s a venue I always enjoy working 👌🏼

A super set up - Classy, cute, and full of goodness. Flopsy Rabbit seems to be on trend right now, my 3rd in a month. And I can see why, traditional yet modern and cute. The florals and cake just stand out as usual, I spend a lot of time on aesthetics as well as produce and taste being paramount. It’s important and I love it and hopefully you can see why.

Set up and serve service - which is an add on to any booking. Why serve and clear up yourself, let us take the stress away from it all so you can enjoy your celebrations. My staff are just as tenacious as I am and really enjoy making your event as seamless as possible.

🍄 Ben & Holly’s Little Kingdom 🍄

Super cute set up for a little girls 4th birthday.

Adults graze table and a children’s set up with mixed themed platters.

It wasn’t the easiest day, the heat was sweltering and the distance from the car park to the venue was looong! Took all of the suppliers an age to get everything in! 🥵 It was a race against time but we smashed it - I love working with other suppliers who are as passionate about their work as I am and seeing the final result is ALWAYS worth it.

Canapés, Canapés, Canapés

In short I love em! I’ve no idea why they are tricky, intricate, complex and time consuming (sounds a bit like me 🤪) but they are so satisfying, a definite crowd pleaser, they have the wow factor for any event with unlimited options to suit all tastes and menus.

Canapés can be added to a graze table to level it up or a canape party alone can hold it’s own. I also cater for dinner parties and canapés are always the best way to start any evening.

🍇 Dedham Vale Vineyard 🍇

This was a very special event for a very special lady turning 70 - She won’t mind my saying but my client had suffered with her health and she really deserved a good party. The backdrop of their home and vineyard was spectacular and the guests were just as charming and captivating.

Let me play it out for you - our typical English weather meant we started as planned outside, welcome drinks being served and the guitarist playing. The graze table was set up but I was making canapés in the kitchen where no guests were allowed ⛔️ Within 10 minutes the heavens opened up and 60 guests joined me in the kitchen whilst I was making over a 100 canapés 😵‍💫

This would have usually caused chaos but I shall always remember it as one of the funniest parties I’ve ever catered for - the guests weren’t bothered about the rain or the crampedness of the kitchen in fact this made it even more fun! I usually hate people watching me cook/build/make but I just had to get on with it - the show had to go on so get on with it we did!

I had the best assisting staff on the day too and we laughed hard all day - even if I did catch them snacking quite a lot and maybe a glass of Dedham Vale sparkling wine here or there which is Devine 👌🏼

You can’t always plan everything to the letter sometimes you just have to go with it and everything turns out perfect anyway.

The weather doesn’t make a party, the people do!
