It’s about time I introduced myself on here, so hi 👋🏼 I’m Emily, the creator of Emily Alex Studio - a big passion that has now formed into small business and I couldn’t be more grateful.
…How did we get here? I studied Photography, Art, and Biology at A-level, which then led onto me studying Interior Architecture and Design at University. After 7 and a half years in my professional Interior Design career, I decided to take my passion for videography, photography and editing a little more seriously, which has led me to setting up this dreamy little venture.
My design led, perspective driven, perfectionist eye with a pinch of being obsessed with documenting life has led me to this point.
35 bookings, regular clients, and 9 months later, I have taken the plunge to reduce my Interior Design career days to focus more on this little passion project.
Imposter syndrome can set in when you take a leap into something new, and I still question if I’m any good on a daily 🤪, but the manifestation that got you there in the first place is the only thing you should focus on. It turns out putting yourself out there, believing in what you can do, and being unapologetically yourself can open doors you never thought were possible.
I’m genuinely so lucky and grateful for everyone that’s booked me, supported me, and recommended me in the last 9 months. The success of each week that has passed is all because you’ve put your trust in me. It’s been an enormous juggle working full time whilst building a business on the side, so thankyou so much for being patient and understanding.
