Gosport and Fareham Inshore Rescue Service’s New Year’s Day Swim is back!
After the disappointment of the 2025 cancellation due to weather, we’re thrilled to confirm that the event returns on Thursday 1st January 2026 — so get the date in your diary!
Timings:
🕚 Public muster: 11:00–11:30
🕛 The big dip, plunge, swim (and squeal!): 12:00 sharp
GAFIRS Lifeboat Station,
Lifeboat Lane,
Stokes Bay,
Alverstoke,
PO12 2TR.
It’s a fantastic spectacle you won’t want to miss, and more importantly, it raises vital funds for the GAFIRS Lifeboat Station.
