An early Saturday in July found us one of the Unique Norfolk venues, Branches Park.
A wedding woven into the wild beauty of the Suffolk countryside, where rolling parkland met soft skies, and the hush of trees framed every moment.
Flowers gathered like they’d been there all along in a way that felt both thoughtful and undone.
There was a stillness to the day, a kind of quiet joy. The kind you feel when everything has fallen into place.
A celebration full of grace and ease, at one with nature, and held together by love.
Soft light poured through the floor-to-ceiling windows, filling the barn with a golden, tranquil glow.
Everything felt still, calm, and full of promise.
We worked with a palette of n**e tones, gentle pops of pale pink and warm caramel. Colours that whispered rather than shouted.
A wild, whimsical broken arch framed the ceremony space, growing as if it had always belonged there.
Quicksand roses nestled alongside dancing foxtail lilies, who quietly stole the show.
A day that felt effortless and elegant.
Rooted in beauty, lifted by love.

Endless fenland skies stretched wide above us as we flowered The Old Hall in Ely for the wedding of Hannah and Rory.
In the sunken gardens the gentle sway of white and green blooms.
Delphiniums nodding in the breeze, roses resting amongst wax flower and feverfew.
A quiet sort of elegance that felt entirely at home here.
We watched on as the bride, veil lifting just slightly in the wind, moved with a kind of grace that slowed the moment. As she walked towards her darling Rory, time held its breath.
Her eyes found his, and everything else, even the breeze, seemed to still.
A timeless celebration, full of tenderness and the kind of love held only for these moments in between. The end of one chapter and the beginning of the next.

Evenings at Cromwell House arrive gently.
Sunlight dapples through the trees, casting golden lace across the gardens.
The last of the cow parsley sways in the soft hush of a May breeze.
These are the moments in-between.
The last days of a bright Spring that brought us out of the depths of Winter.
She arrives softly.
Always with the promise of more.
Then takes a gracious step back, curtsying as Summer arrives.
Golden and effortless, trailing wildflowers in her wake.
The scent of sweet peas lingers in the air, delicate, familiar, like a memory you forgot you loved.
Cotton dresses brush past tall grasses, silk ribbons catching the last of the light.
There’s laughter somewhere in the distance, and the kind of calm that only the English countryside in late Spring can bring.
As the sun begins to dip, and the air cools just enough, a knitted cardigan finds its way around shoulders, quietly keeping the warmth of the day close, for just a little longer.
This is where we find our peace.

A garden ceremony bathed in the softest sunshine, tucked into the grounds of Lanwades Hall, where the breeze caught the petals and the air felt slow and full of meaning.
A timeless palette of greens and whites in a beautiful arch that framed the vows, gently echoing the beauty of the setting.
The bride carried a bouquet made by her closest friends. A love letter in stems, hand tied with care. Proof that flowers don’t just decorate a day, they hold it.

It was such a joy to be back at a venue we love, creating in a space that feels like home and working alongside friends who make days like this feel even more special.

Some days, it still stops us in our tracks, the way flowers can tell a story without saying a word.
The way a single stem can hold a memory, or a bouquet can feel like the start of something new.
We don’t take it lightly, being asked to flower your most meaningful moments.
Each arrangement is crafted with care, with a little piece of our heart tucked in among the petals.
It’s more than just flowers.
It’s emotion, atmosphere, and intention, all woven together in scent and texture and colour.
And it’s our greatest joy to create it, for you.
This weekend the darling Lou married her Richard from her parish church, just a short walk from home, a place filled with memories, now wrapped in soft petals and cascading sunlight.
Looking like a Bride from Downton wearing vintage with the sweetest blue gingham shoes, her veil blowing gently around her, Lou walked down the aisle surrounded by greens and whites with the gentlest touch of lemon.
Roses, delphiniums, daisies, orlaya, and the fluffiest peonies filled the church with scent and softness, blooms chosen not just for how they looked, but for how they felt.
Surrounded and supported by those who knew and loved them best, the day was heartfelt and full.
Family wove through every part. Vintage handkerchiefs were given to each guest, ready to catch happy tears.
Handwritten name cards sat at each place setting, small details, full of love.
It was the kind of wedding that reminded us, flowers don’t just decorate a space, they hold meaning.
And it was our absolute honour to be part of it.

There’s a quiet kind of magic in working from a space designed with flowers in mind.
Soft light, gathered textures, tools that feel like extensions of my hands, everything here has a purpose.
It’s from this calm that we shape the floral story of your day.
Sketching palettes, pairing petals, letting each idea grow gently into something that feels just right.
There’s often a camera tucked onto the workbenches, music drifting in and out, the choice varied depending on the mood, and conversations about tea (always strong) and the perfect biscuit to go with it.
A space created for creating, where your wedding flowers begin with stillness, beauty, and intention.

There’s something magic about designing in nature.
When the setting shapes the flowers just as much as the flowers shape the space.
For this open day ceremony set up by the lake at Chippenham park, we let the curve of the pagoda guide us.
Chairs followed its sweep in a soft arc, like petals drawn to light.
As for the flowers, we wanted them to feel like they had grown gently around it all, wild and intentional, like they’d always been there.
Soft reflections on the water, sunlight flickering through meadow stems.
It felt less like a setup, and more like a moment waiting to be found.
This is what we love most: not just arranging flowers, but creating something that belongs to the land.

The world is still,
just the hush of morning dew and the rustle of sweet pea tendrils reaching for light.
Bare feet on cool grass, secateurs in hand, the scent of summer already thick in the air.
I gather a handful of sweet peas, the colours gentle, still cool from the night.
There’s peace in this rhythm, just me, the flowers, and the slow start of the day.
The sun lifts slowly, gold on my shoulder.
The garden is mine alone for a little while.
Just birdsong, blossoms, breath.
And then, arms full of blooms, I head inside.
A steaming cup of tea waits beside rumpled linen and warm sheets.
It’s not just a morning… it’s a love letter to the life you’ve grown.

They say flowers fade, but we know they stay.
Not in vases or bouquets, but in memory.
It’s the scent of sweet peas that will take you back to the quiet moment before you walked down the aisle.
The soft rustle of eucalyptus that will echo the laughter at dinner.
The cow parsley dancing in the breeze as you said your vows, forever stitched into your story.
Flowers hold space.
They soften edges.
They turn time into feeling.
We don’t design florals just to fill a room, we craft them to stay with you, long after petals fall.

Almost Spring.
Blackbirds singing from outside the studio
Sweet peas
Tea breaks from the little bench by the wall
Studios full of flowers
Sewing seeds
Cow parsley
Just a few of the things I’m looking forward to.
February is almost over and March will soon be upon us with all the promise of Spring.

As we turned from the road onto the tree lined avenue of Lanwades Hall, it felt like coming back home.
We have Wintered.
Long days under woollen blankets, with mugs of steaming tea in hand.
Flowers have only been something talked about.
This week we dusted off our studio as the first flowers of the 2025 season arrived. The smell of the eucalyptus filled the studio, the velvety softness of the rose petals at our fingertips.
The rest has been welcome, but the need to create can sometimes leave you restless.
Even on a rainy day in February, Lanwades hall invited us in with its roaring fires and smell of coffee wafting from the kitchen.
Life is stirring again in the gardens as the hellebores raise their heads.
Dusky pinks with soft creams and delicate peaches were todays colours.
Small pops of deep mauve with the dancing heads of clematis and Astrantia.
It was soft and delicate like the light of a February morning.
Bud vases for the wedding breakfast, with a display of flowers to decorate the fireplace of the great hall.
Meadow boxes for the Church, later repositioned to the morning room for a moment to cut the cake.
The sound of rain softly hitting the windows, accompanied by the song of laughter making its way from the Bridal suite.
The nervous whispers of the Groomsmen as they fumbled with buttonholes in the library.
A love story at the start of its next chapter.
