Since the Morbey family purchased the estate and house from Oliver Cromwells family in 1860, the estate has been developed

by successive generations into a productive arable farm. The present generation, Anthony and Alison, diversified the house in 2010 into a 5 Star gold Bed and Breakfast and an 'Exclusive Use' venue that is booked in its entirety for weddings, parties, conferences and private dinner parties. The Old Hall is located 1 mile from Ely, 12 miles from Newmarket, 15 miles from Cambridge and close to the borders of Norfolk and Suffolk. Ely railway station is a 5 minute drive away and this makes The Old Hall very accessible to London, other major cities and airports.
