Following a major transformation, The Flea Market space has been reimagined into a modern, flexible venue that can now host live music, culture, community events and so much more. With new facilities, improved accessibility and a striking new look, a new chapter begins for this space.

The launch programme starts this summer, with The Market Warehouse bringing a brand-new programme of events to the venue including a festival-style indoor music event on Saturday 12 September headlined by Ellesmere Port’s own Ian Prowse & Amsterdam.

Everyone in Ellesmere Port knows The Flea Market.

For years it’s been a place people have visited, worked in, shopped in and walked past countless times. It’s a building that’s familiar to generations of local people.

This September, you’ll see it in a completely different way.

Ahead of our opening event on 12th September, Ian Prowse dropped by to take a look around the space and see how it’s being transformed for the first Market Warehouse event.

We’re excited to bring together live music, local talent and a unique venue for what promises to be a special night in the town.

A new chapter begins for one of Ellesmere Port’s most well known spaces.

On Saturday 12th September, The Flea Market will reopen its doors for live music, culture and community events, as The Market Warehouse launches with a huge headline show from Ellesmere Port’s own Ian Prowse & Amsterdam.

This building has been part of the town’s identity as a flea market. Now, following major redevelopment, the space has been transformed and is ready to host live entertainment in the heart of Ellesmere Port once again.

This is the next step from Ellesmere Port Collective to bring memorable events, music and culture back into the town centre.
