Wedding dress shopping should fit around your life, not the other way around.

We know how busy planning a wedding can be — work, family, weekends packed full — so we’ve made our appointments as flexible as possible to make things easier for you.

We are appointment-based, but we offer midweek, weekend and out-of-hours appointments to suit even the most hectic schedules.
Whether you need an evening slot after work or a quieter weekday visit, we’ll do our best to fit around you.

This is also why we don’t use an online booking system.
Online diaries simply don’t allow the flexibility we need to properly look after you or accommodate those more personal, last-minute or out-of-hours requests.

Our aim is simple: to make finding your dress feel relaxed, unhurried and completely on your terms.
If you’re starting your dress journey, we’re here when you need us — not just when the diary says so.

No pressure. No pushy sales. No making you feel rushed. Just honest advice, a relaxed atmosphere, and helping you find the dress that feels right for YOU ✨

We often get asked a few questions, so we thought we’d answer them here…

📸 “Can we take photos?” Of course you can! We know choosing your dress is a huge decision and sometimes it helps to look back at photos afterwards or show loved ones. We’re absolutely happy for you to take pictures.

✂️ “Can a seamstress do this alteration?” Sometimes the answer is an easy yes… but sometimes we genuinely don’t know — because we’re not seamstresses, and we’ll never just tell you what you want to hear to make a sale.

If there’s something specific you’d like changing, we may suggest taking photos and speaking to a seamstress before buying, just to make sure it can be done exactly how you want. We have absolutely no problem with that because what matters most to us is that you end up with the right dress, not just any dress.

👗 “Do I need to buy a dress bag or box?” Absolutely not! Every dress comes with a FREE dress bag from us 🤍

We don’t sell storage boxes because honestly, they’re not necessary before the wedding. Some brides choose to have their dress professionally cleaned and boxed afterwards as a keepsake, and we’re always happy to recommend companies for that if you’d like.

✨ Did you know at From Above we stock brand new gowns as well as ex-sample and pre-loved dresses? ✨

We’re often asked “How do you have brand new designer dresses at such amazing prices?”

The answer is simple… many of our gowns come from real brides.
Sometimes a bride falls in love with more than one dress and chooses to sell the one she doesn’t wear, and sometimes wedding plans change for all sorts of reasons.

This means we often receive completely unworn gowns, still with tags attached — sometimes collected from the boutique and brought straight to us.
They are quite literally brand new designer dresses, but because they’re being resold, we can offer them at a fraction of the original price.

Alongside these, we also have beautiful ex-sample and carefully selected pre-loved gowns, all chosen because they’re in gorgeous condition and ready to make another bride feel incredible 🤍

If you’re dress shopping, don’t overlook resale… you could find the one and bag yourself an amazing designer gown for far less than you’d expect.
