🚻 A Polite Reminder to All Our Guests 🚻

As a small family-run wedding venue and campsite, we work hard to keep our facilities clean, well maintained and available for everyone to enjoy.

Unfortunately, we are having to replace another main sewage pump this weekend after stones were put down one of the toilets, causing significant damage. We also had to replace a pump just six weeks ago, meaning this will be the second replacement in less than two months Each pump costs around £700, before labour and fitting.

As we are not connected to mains drainage, our system is much more sensitive. The ONLY thing that should ever be flushed is toilet paper and human waste. Please do not flush baby wipes (even those labelled “flushable”), sanitary products, nappies, paper towels, food, stones or any other items, as they can cause blockages and costly damage.

We would also kindly ask parents to supervise children when using the toilet facilities to help prevent accidental or deliberate misuse.

Unexpected repairs like this have a significant impact on a small family business. Money that could have been invested into improving the campsite is instead being spent replacing damaged equipment, and unfortunately it affects the facilities available to all of our guests.

We appreciate the vast majority of our visitors who respect our site and our facilities. Thank you for helping us keep The Old Vicarage at Elkesley a clean, welcoming place for everyone to enjoy. 💚 🏕️ 💒

Every couple leaves their own mark on our tipi. 🌿

From handcrafted centrepieces and natural textures to personalised details and warm lighting, it's always incredible to see a vision come to life.

One of the things we love most is walking into the tipi just before guests take their seats. Everything is in place, the candles are lit, and there's that quiet moment before the celebrations begin.

Whether your style is rustic, elegant, boho or something completely unique, the space becomes yours for the weekend.

We can't wait to see how the next couple makes it their own. ❤️

The Old Vicarage at Elkesley is private land. All day visitors must check in and pay before accessing the grounds or using any of our facilities.

Our day visitor charges are:

Garden games and relaxed seating areas set up by the river, friendly competitions and a few laughs along the way, these little touches helped create the laid-back atmosphere they wanted for their day.

One of the things we love most about outdoor weddings is seeing guests spread out across the venue, making the most of every corner of the grounds and creating memories together.

Every wedding tells a story, and Danielle & Jacob made sure theirs was woven into every detail. ❤️

From the tables named after places that mean something to them, to the sunflowers, candlelight and personal touches throughout the tipi, guests were surrounded by little reminders of their journey together.

One of our favourite details has to be the disco Husky keeping watch over the celebrations. 🐺✨

The tipi looked incredible as guests gathered for an evening of food, drinks and dancing.

A little look back at Danielle & Jacob's beautiful wedding day at The Old Vicarage. ❤️

Before the guests arrived and before the ceremony began, everything was set and ready. The pergola was dressed with stunning flowers, the chairs were in place, and the grounds were waiting for the celebrations to begin.

We always love this part of the day. The calm before the excitement, when all the planning starts to come together and you can really see each couple's vision brought to life.

Danielle & Jacob created such a wonderful setting for their ceremony, and we're looking forward to sharing more moments from their day over the coming days.
