The best wedding ceremonies feel natural from the very beginning.

Not too formal. Not too stiff. Not focused on the celebrant. Just relaxed, meaningful and completely about the couple standing in front of everyone.

Your ceremony sets the tone for the whole day. It should feel warm, personal and genuinely you.

Over the years, I’ve conducted ceremonies across Scotland - Moray, Speyside, Aberdeenshire and the Highlands, from beaches and forests to churches, castles and hillside elopements.

Some couples want a completely non-religious ceremony. Some want spirituality included naturally. Some want faith, symbolic rituals or family traditions woven through the ceremony in a way that feels meaningful to them.

Most just want something that feels real.

That’s why I love being an Open Belief and agnostic celebrant. There’s freedom in it. Freedom for couples to include what matters to them and leave out what doesn’t, without feeling boxed into a script or structure.

At the end of the day, people won’t remember whether your ceremony sounded impressive.

They’ll remember whether it felt real. 🤍

I’m Laura - I tell your story and make sure your wedding ceremony feels like you 😄

I stand at the front and talk, which sounds simple enough… but your ceremony is one of the parts people remember most.

So it needs to feel right 🤍
Not just for your guests, but for you standing there side by side, taking that next step together.

I create wedding ceremonies across Moray, Speyside, the Highlands and Aberdeenshire that feel natural to be part of. Not overly polished, not boring, not full of things that don’t quite fit, and definitely not something you’re standing through thinking “is this nearly finished?”

I’m a legally authorised wedding celebrant in Scotland, with 14 years of experience, and I can conduct non-religious, religious, spiritual, or somewhere-in-between ceremonies. It should reflect what matters to you, not fit into a box.

I can marry you pretty much anywhere in Scotland. Outdoors, indoors, somewhere scenic, somewhere practical… or somewhere that seemed like a great idea until you checked the forecast 💨☔️☀️

My role is to keep things calm, make sure it flows properly, and add a bit of lightness where it helps.

Feeling incredibly thankful this week. 😌

I’ve had 9 lovely calls with couples looking for a celebrant, and 6 beautiful ceremonies already confirmed ✨

It honestly means so much to be invited into such a special moment in people’s lives. Every conversation, every story, every “yes, we’d love you to be part of our day” fills me with so much gratitude.

It’s busy, busy, busy over here, but in the best possible way. Dates are filling up fast.

I never take for granted the trust couples place in me to help tell their story and create something meaningful for their ceremony.

Feeling very lucky and very grateful to play even a small part in such unforgettable days 💛
