What a gorgeous evening with J&A for their end-of-summer engagement session!

Lots of smiles, wedding chats, plenty of getting to know each other - and, of course, the sheep were definitely following us around! They even made the perfect backdrop and the most adorable real-life props.

Alex & Shaun 🤍

Two grooms. One incredible ceremony. And a whole lot of laughter.

There was so much to love about this Edinburgh wedding.

From the moment the ceremony began in the spectacular New Library at the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh, the atmosphere was everything you could hope for — laughter, emotion, happy tears and two people completely wrapped up in the moment.

And then Misha made her entrance. 🐾

A&S’s much-loved pup had the honour of carrying their wedding rings down the aisle. She took her responsibility very seriously… before promptly stealing the attention of pretty much everyone in the room.

She was clever, beautifully behaved and, quite frankly, adorable.

After the ceremony, we headed outside for confetti and congratulations, followed by family photographs and some quieter time for Alex and Shaun together in the East Gardens of Queen Street.

For us, these are the moments that make wedding photography so special. Not just the big, beautifully planned parts of the day, but the personalities, the relationships, the laughter and all those unexpected little moments that could never be staged.

A wonderful Edinburgh wedding, an extraordinary historic venue, two fantastic grooms and one very memorable ring bearer.

Congratulations, Alex & Shaun. It was an absolute pleasure to document your day. 🤍

Happy wedding day to this stunning couple! 🥂

All the way from Nova Scotia to Scotland, and to the country of Mallory’s family heritage, it’s been a wonderful and emotional trip for them, shared with their closest family and friends.

I had the pleasure of meeting Mallory and Patrick a couple of days before their wedding and taking them for a long walk around some of the Old Town’s most beautiful locations. We finished the evening in spectacular Holyrood Park, with Arthur’s Seat in the background — a great evening and a little practice run before the big day!

It was lovely getting to know you both and being a small part of your Scottish wedding adventure.

Kim & Aedan 🤍

One of those weddings where the setting does half the storytelling.

A beautiful celebration at Glen Clova Estate in the north of Scotland, surrounded by open hills, wild landscapes and that unmistakable Scottish light.

Kim and Aedan were an absolute dream to photograph, relaxed, completely themselves and effortlessly stylish. The day had such a natural flow to it, with plenty of genuine emotion, quiet moments and beautiful details woven throughout.

And then… the veil decided to make an appearance. 😂
That Scottish breeze doing exactly what it does best.
