Today was all about getting things just right for what’s coming next year:
• Rehearsals with The Jacobites Ceilidh Band
• Piping locked in with Cameron McKay
• Final food tasting with our caterers at Mackenzies

All in preparation for From Feast to Fling, launching at the Edinburgh Corn Exchange this year.

The music’s sounding powerful, the food is spot-on, and the full experience is coming together exactly as planned. This is a proper Scottish night out, built for groups and delivered by a dedicated cast.

⛈️ When weather warnings forced the cancellation of the Edinburgh Tattoo for 200 guests from Trafalgar Travel, we got a call at 11PM on Sunday night:
“Is there any way we can still give them a Scottish night to remember?”

Challenge accepted.

Thanks to Fiona and the brilliant team at the Edinburgh Corn Exchange, we pulled together an unforgettable evening at incredibly short notice.

🎵 The night opened with Pipe Major Cameron McKay and our amazing Highland dancer Ellen, setting the tone with traditional music and dance.

Then The Jacobites took over with songs, reels, and of course — the world-famous Strip the Willow! 💃🕺

An incredible night made possible by quick thinking, great teamwork, and a shared love for Scottish culture.
We’re proud to have turned a cancelled event into a ceilidh celebration 🎉
