Hi frens ,

Things have been moving and shaking in life and I've finally let go of needing to shape shift for others. My health journey ober the last few years has given me space and time to feel put what forward looks like in a more wholistically healthy way.... this is reflected in a shift of label... changeling has been layed to rest and as such I won't be using this page in the future .

How to respond when your no longer able to harmonize with your main tool.....

Navigating a realm I never thought I'd find myself in , grief and frustration replaced by gentleness and letting go .... slowly .

I've been getting migranes every time I use this beauty, for over a year now , it makes what used to be the best job in the world , somthing that's a struggle 💔

It has brought questions of identity , value , and usefulness , in an attempt of override the vulnerability of sharing .....

I started to just sit and stare at this dream machine.....wondering what's next.

Ebbing and flowing into what comes from composting the s*♤t and watching the mycelium flower.

The shop space has been flooding and growing mould against all of our best efforts to keep it safe for fabrics ..... resistance as the say has been futile , so a refurb is once again underway a new leace of life another incarnation for the beautiful little heaven we build ..... without the fabrics.... yes , that's it !!

During the winter months the shoo will reopen in another more collaborative form ..... full details to come ! And currently looking for a few collaborators who want to exhibit and sell their non fabric items in the run up to xmas and possibly beyond. Dm for details.

On a personal leavel I have been experiencing chronic tinitus , for many months , which has taken my attention , patience and extreme razor edge of sanity preservation......I am at a place where help is beginning to flow and my ability to understand how to regulate this invisible to others ailment is growing ...... excitement for what the future is growing is real....my ability to be present online is growing again .

Shapeshifting thru creativity will always inspire me , however with new times comes new focus , new boundaries and new freedoms!!

I had this whole massive plan for a big good bye , however I'm in a sunny field .... so being present with there and now is where it's at!!

I still have a bunch of stuff to sell off , a shop to clean and close and loose ends to tie up ..... but for now , I'll just let them blow in the breeze and see which ones dont fly away!

The process of giving back to the fairys ( or closing down this business..)

As you may know , I have taken to decision to close changeling , to stop being a seamstress and costume maker , and to turn my other talents , loves and current obsessions into a shiny new way forward.

I'm keen to play with the potency of words, I chose the name chANGELing 15 years ago ... feeling like it epitomised many aspects of what I wanted to share with the world .

I wanted to take discarded things and create beauty that empowered people , which I have !

I wanted to help people become closer to aspects of them selves , the playful , the creative , they wearing things that made them feel safe to do so .... which I have.

I wanted to play, and have the freedom to shift between things that I loved doing , play , create , freelance, teach, learn, perform, chANGELing allowed me to do all of that freely

There are many more aspects which have been fulfilled over the years , and the gratitude for the time spent in all these realms is tangeable.

So how to let go of somthing like this , with celebrations of course !!

It will begin with.... a sale , over the next weeks I will be getting all the stock cleared that's complete .
I also have a couple of little projects I'd like to complete in this time ......
AND quite a large stash of personal costumes to let go of .... still trying to figure out how this part flows .....
I want to make a couple of dress up boxes , that people can rent to take to a party or festival ... share the silly clothes loving all around .
