What in the WIG WALTZ is going on?!

WIG WALTZ is a pop-up dance performance featuring two flamboyant, regency-esque aristocrats preparing for a grand ball.
Created by Dan Brown and Minnie Crook dressed in extravagant wigs and elaborate costumes, they move through rituals of etiquette, elegance and excess, only to unravel the social codes they’re upholding.

We're shivering with excitement to be hosting Brrr by Hayley Earlam in Lyra's Artspace Venue this week as part of Edinburgh International Children's Festival !

Brrr is a multi-sensory installation and dance performance for young audiences with complex needs. Set within an inflatable dome, Brrr is an immersive exploration of winter featuring dance, sound, video, and lots and lots of snow ❄️❄️❄️

Created in collaboration with young people and a team of artists specialising in inclusive practice, the performance is tailored to meet the specific needs of each audience member, who have the freedom to engage in their own way and at their own pace with the shimmering winter landscape.

Although Brrr is only available to school groups during this year's Children's Festival you can join the snow day fun at Edinburgh Fringe from ❄️ 18–22 August ❄️

This year, the Scamps and Wednesday Young Artists groups have been imagining what it would be like to re-imagine an ordinary bus into an extraordinary world. Over the next year the Lyra team will transform our single decker bus into a creative play space, where you can escape to new worlds and let your imagination run wild.

Join us for a sneak peak of the vision for Lyra’s newest space on our Dream Bus Design Tour, where members of the Lyra Ensemble will share some of the ideas of what our dream bus could look like once it’s transformed!

This is a non-ticketed event and will be offered for free throughout the weekend.
