We have a modern, specifically designed theatre and rehearsal studios, that are accessed by students on courses in dance, acting and technical theatre, make up artistry and theatre costume design. Students have an opportunity to showcase their talents to fellow learners and members of the public through an array of entertaining performances throughout the year. We have a dedicated team of experienced lecturers who work closely with the industry to ensure learners are being given the best opportunity to develop and progress. Partners in Scotland include the Royal Lyceum Theatre, Cumbernauld Theatre, Grid Iron, Scottish Dance Theatre, Errol White Dance, Festival Theatre and The Traverse Theatre, with experts and agencies from far and wide also holding workshops with learners. We are proud to boast many partnerships and affiliations with both schools and higher education establishments. Learners from the Dance Artist and BA course do a lot of teaching in schools, giving them the opportunity to learn and develop choreography and teaching skills, while acting learners annually hosts a collaborative performance with Queen Margaret University. Partners even stretch as far as the University Academy of Theatre in Targu Mures, Romania where HND Acting students work with their peers from the Hungarian and Romanian sections.
