We are an inclusive Fringe Venue that believes that every artist should have the option to perform at the festival, regardless of age, experience, group size, genre etc! As we all begin to head home after another wonderful Summer in Edinburgh, it’s time to properly reflect on what a truly fantastic Fringe it’s been - one for the ages! Thank you again to everyone who was a part of it 🥹🌱

THANK YOU GREENSIDE ‘26… AND HELLO GREENSIDE ‘27 💚👀

Today we wrap up performances at Greenside Venues for the 2026 Fringe season (we know - it’s come around too fast 🥲). A HUGE thank you to all our companies, staff, audiences, and all those who made this year our best yet.

…and now, we look forward to 2027…

Introducing GREENSIDE @ QUEEN STREET!

That’s right, we’re going even bigger and better for next year, with a whole new venue, that will boast a whopping NINE studio spaces, including a 250-seat theatre. We’re on a mission to solidify the New Town as a real Fringe hub, with our George Street and Queen Street venues just a hop, skip, and a jump away from one another. And don’t worry! We’ll still have our lovely Riddles, too! 🌱

For now, we’ll leave you to enjoy watching and performing your final shows, but if you’d like to come and celebrate what we’ve all achieved this year, and raise a toast to what’s to come, join us from 8pm this evening at George Street - let’s go out with a bang 🤩

Every year we challenge our Greensiders to come up with their own letter G (for Greenside!)-themed costumes, and this year DID NOT DISAPPOINT!!! Take a look at some of the very fun, and in some cases VERY creative outfits that graced our George Street Cab Bar last night 🪩💚
