Hopes of getting the little VW pick up into action right away were dashed when I tried to get it to run a bit better, zero compression on number 3 cylinder had me on the hunt for bits, Kev at leven Coachworks was his usual helpful self and redirected me to Paul at Aircooled Engines Scotland in Alloa, hopefully now have all the bits lined up to pull the engine engine next week and have it working to do the jobs I bought it for! We’ll see 😂

Recent life events led to me revisiting the “no more cars” resolution, moving to a “life’s too short get another car” kind of thing, was helped out by Jarrod who has became the new custodian of my Citroen GS, to be replaced by a very ratty T2 pick up, earning its keep already, hoping it might prove to be the ultimate “practical classic” we will see ❤️
