✨ Now the dust has settled, we’re still buzzing from a cracking day at Egg Women on Top Summit 2025!

Over 300 brilliant women filled The Assembly Rooms Edinburgh with connection, creativity, and pure energy. We were so proud to partner with egg to bring this year’s summit to life — crafting an experience that celebrates and uplifts women in business across Scotland.

Our CEO, Gilly, joined an inspiring panel on reframing imposter syndrome, sharing her journey with honesty, heart, and a whole lot of sparkle. 💫

As is coming to an end, we wanted to share some milestones on YOURGB’s journey toward becoming a more sustainable business. This isn’t about boasting—it’s about inspiring like-minded businesses, sparking conversation, and building momentum for positive change 🌱

So far in 2025, we’ve made a number of steps to reduce our environmental impact. Our office electricity and gas usage is down compared to last year, and with winter coming, we’re implementing more processes to keep these numbers low. We’ve done this through measures like programming our thermostats so heating only comes on when the office is in use, switching from halogen to LED lighting, and using reactive or timed lights throughout the space.

We’re also mindful of our broader carbon footprint. As members of the Carbon Footprint Standard, carbon management is at the heart of everything we do. Being based in beautiful Edinburgh, we’ve embraced walking to nearby destinations (anything within 2km) whenever we can, enjoying the city and its scenery along the way. For slightly longer trips, we choose public transport, and when travelling around the UK for work, we favour trains over planes.

Even small changes matter. We’ve adopted biodegradable cleaning supplies, sponges, and refillable cleaning products as standard practice in our office.

And our biggest milestone this year? We’re now in the verification process to become a B-Corp, a step that aligns our business with sustainability and social impact values.

What a month it’s been! The Edinburgh Fringe has officially wrapped, and we’re still buzzing from the energy ⚡️

There’s nothing else like it — a city transformed by endless shows, contagious laughter, and magic on every street corner.

From concept to red carpet flair, our team delivered a bespoke Caribbean-inspired photo wall, live interviews, steel-pan rhythms, and dazzling dancers - all beautifully coordinated, captured, and edited on-site. The immersive atmosphere created a memorable guest experience and elevated brand storytelling in one seamless production. 🎥

Think bespoke theming, striking lighting, interactive moments, and unforgettable entertainment – every detail designed to wow our guests.

Oh, and we registered 650 guests in under an hour. No biggie 💅

We understand that our role exists to support our clients. We strive to ensure that our event design process works with them and makes their lives easier, allowing us to act as an extension to their team. We are dedicated, personable, creative, pro-active and deep thinkers; every decision we make, or recommendation we provide, has the best interests of our clients at heart. We love what we do, which makes us care personally about the success of each of the events that we deliver with our clients. We are purposefully non-formulaic in our approach to event design and delivery because we understand that each of our clients are unique, and as such require a be-spoke service every time they work with us. We see your event as a bouncy ball. When you throw a ball onto the ground, the point of impact is (to us) the event itself taking place. It's that split second of impact, the momentary connection between the ball and the ground, that determines how high that ball will travel. It is the success of that impact that determines how far your event and its message will travel and how high it will reach. Our job is to think creatively and strategically about how high we can possibly make your ball bounce, and we will look at that ball from every aspect (design, PR, theming, location, social media, comms, ATL, brand plans) to determine every possible opportunity to add to its bounciness. We make events bounce. Each of the YOURgb EVENTS team are true event professionals. We all have our own specialties from creative conceptualization to sponsorship activations, conference logistics to stage management. We have years of experience in worldwide event creation and delivery in a variety of industries. We design events that ‘break the mould’, whilst keeping them in budget and realistically achievable.
