A tough few days of matches for our Scotland junior boys team. A close 2-1 loss to Ireland in their last pool match meant the team went into the 17-32 playoff.

The boys have battled hard with Murdo Mackenzie and John Green winning clutch matches to beat both Nigeria and South Africa 2-1.

Heading into their final match they take on New Zealand for the 17/18 position today at UK 18:30.

Great to be part of the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games Kelvingrove Live site on Friday! So many young people took up the opportunity to try some squash on our makeshift squash courts ahead of the Malta 2027 Commonwealth Youth Games!

The Scotland junior boys team have got their campaign underway at the World Junior Team Championships.

It was a tough start to pool play for the boys taking on 2nd seed USA and going down 3-0.

Today they take on Ireland in a bid to finish second in their pool. Match starts at UK 15:00 and streamed live on court 7 here: worldsquash.tv

JUNIORS - Are you looking to develop your game in the coming season? 🌱

The Scottish Squash Development Squad might be the perfect fit for you! We are now accepting expressions of interest up till 10th August.

This squad is designed to guide young players through the process of developing all the necessary attributes for them to begin to compete at the top level.

This season we are also providing the opportunity for all interested players to join a taster session at the end of August. Players must be under the age of 17.

Five Scottish juniors are set to compete at the World Junior Championships in Canada next week!

We are wishing best of luck to the travelling squad who set off tomorrow for Niagara on the Lake, Ontario 🇨🇦

Murdo, Cailean, John, Zack and Ella will each compete in the individual championships from 20-26 July.

Following that the boys will also take part in the team event 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿💪
